The number of white people in the United States has declined for the first time in history, the latest census data is expected to reveal.

The 2020 Census, due out Thursday, is anticipated to show that all population growth over the last five years has been from people of color, the Washington Post reported Wednesday.

As a result, it is expected to show that the portion of white people in the US has fallen below 60 percent for the first time in census-taking history.

The population of those under age 18 is also predicted to now be majority non-white.

The number of white people is expected to have declined in 26 states. Whites will only account for more than 50 percent of growth in just five states and DC, the report said.

Hispanic and Asian populations are believed to be behind much of the country’s population growth.

The Hispanic population could be behind about 50 percent of the growth in states such as Texas, Florida, Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada.

Meanwhile, the population of black people is expected to remain steady at 12.5 percent when the new census data is released.

The estimations are based on annual updates from the US Census Bureau based on the 2010 data. The exact figures for the 2020 Census are not yet known.

The decline in the white population — if confirmed by the data, which is widely expected — has come roughly eight years earlier than predicted, according to Brookings Institution demographer William Frey.

“Twenty years ago if you told people this was going to be the case, they wouldn’t have believed you,” he told the outlet.


“The country is changing dramatically.”

He said the opioid epidemic and the lower number of millennials having children could have accelerated the decline.

Frey said the white population could fall below 50 percent by 2045.

Interesting. You'd think it's due to all of the black lives not mattering to other blacks that keeps the jogger population static. But joggers also have a tendency to not fill out their census shit:

because most hispanics in the US are brown, ricans,salvadorians,dominicans, and guatanamalans make up 15% of the hispanic population. southern mexicans (the ones that resemble chief wahoo/the ones that pick our fruits and nuts) make up about 65% of the hispanic population,

so 80% of the hispanic population is primarily brown in the US.

The biggest problem which i think the people on the far-right are forgetting, is that because of covid the census is way less accurate than it usually is. i'd be legitimately surprised if the numbers are off by 5%. combine that with how many boomers probably died after talking to a census worker and i'd be impressed if we aren't already in a majority minority country. If the powers that be ever let us out of covid long enough, we'll probably see how much of a margin of error there was in this census. guarantee unless something happens to fuck up the 2030 census (which at the very least i'd trust the dems not to fuck up because it would certainly be in their favor) that will be when they'll offically declare us a majority minority country. which fits the estimates on when our economy goes completely in the shitter too.

I wonder what's the ultimate goal in erasing whities.
I remember my mom commenting something about the race of the future some years ago. I don't know where she heard it (on the news or what), but she said, "In the future, the world's white population will decrease greatly and the most prevalent ethnicities will be the indian and the arabic."
I told her that was bullshit and would never happen. I even joked that in the future everybody would be chink.
I guess she wasn't so wrong after all.
