Yeah but Jaiden seems like a special case that attracts coomers and autists compared to other e-celebs. Certainly doesn't help she's branded herself as asexual+aromantic (aka "I'm not interested in anyone, but as a woman I need attention, so this is what I 'identify as' now") and that brings in more retarded IDPol that was completely unnecessary before. I think the Sharty doxed her for this alone, geg.

Several years ago Nuxtaku confidently asserted that another vtuber called Taiga is a pedophile, and ever since then taiga has been dealing with the fallout. And it seems only years later that Nux is getting criticized for it on a pretty large scale. Nux has never issued a proper retraction, and the accusations of pedophilia seem rather baseless in my opinion.

EDIT: After looking into it, Taiga appears to be a Shotacon and has commissioned it in the past, however, Nux is still a hypocrite for calling Taiga a pedophile since Nux himself looks at Loli porn and has used it in his thumbnails. If Nux considers Taiga a pedo for Shota, by his logic he should consider himself a pedo for Loli. He also admitted he didn't do any research and went with information that someone told him.

TL;DR:

Taiga is a Canadian femboy vtuber. He was groomed when he was younger and then got stalked by a millionaire who started putting out pedo rumors along with a couple of Taiga's mods who were also into him but he turned them down as well. At one point they were talking about minors in the discord and then Taiga asks how old (Taiga being 19 at the time and in Canada where he is from age of consent is 16) he is told the minor is 17 and Taiga says "Oh, who cares?". it's the 2020's now though so it's being a pedo.

Fast forward, Nux is on a stream with Moist Critical who "asks" about Taiga and Nux says "I don't know the whole story but he has been accused of being a pedophile."
And then they move on.

Nux claims he apologized and tried to clear things up, Taiga says he's been blacklisted from just about everything because of Nux's comment and he really hasn't done anything to fix it. Taiga has recently lost his YT channel (right after getting the play button) because of the rumors he's a pedo and Nux never clearing things up. (Which is exactly what Nux wants Keemstar to do right now in regards to the whole Shadman stuff. Which is probably why it's coming up now.

Nuxtaku is a retard who spreads allegations without doing research (i.e Mamamax) but the problem with Taiga is that he has commissioned degenerate shotacon artwork of her Vtuber model and says that he finds shotas "genuinely hot as fuck", he wants to become one and wants more shotacon vtubers:

I'm glad I have not once set my foot upon the world vtube. I thought that shit was a heap of shit back then when it started getting popular with the annoying shark girl, and everything i learn about it only reinforces that assumption.

Ew. The amount that the vtuber/anime commentary scene pulls this card is repulsive. Rev says desu seems to be one of the bigger anime "drama" youtubers who constantly spews this crap, and I think he should be ashamed of the people who he's trying so hard to defend

that's what i thought too, which is why the guy i was quoting saying she a bunch confused me, because i'm pretty sure i've heard this guy speak in a deeper voice before this character was a persona he used. i think i'm just getting confused on who's being talked about.

Welcome to the lolicons. They have no shame. I find Nux's lolicon stance one of the "smarter" ones if you can call it that. Unlike Rev, who is "The Lolicon King", Nux puts a wall of ambiguity between him and lolishit. Now the smartest (and most morally righteous) is to disown it. But I think he does not want that backlash, best case scenario.
