NYC Nurse Is Suspended for Trying to Stop Black Man from Stealing her "city" Bike - Niggers can do no wrong.

The lawyer for a Manhattan hospital worker accused of taking a Citi Bike from a young black man — who claimed that he paid for the two-wheeler — provided receipts that he says show she was the one who purchased the ride at the center of the viral incident.

The Bellevue Hospital employee — who was branded a “Karen” on social media afterward — rented the bike first, lawyer Justin Marino said in a statement to The Post Wednesday.

He also provided two Citi Bike receipts from May 12, which were timestamped just minutes apart.

The first receipt reviewed by The Post shows the bike being taken out before it was re-locked one minute later, which Marino said is the bike seen in the video.

The second receipt shows another bike being taken out a minute later from the same docking station and was the bike Marino said his client used to get home after being “heckled and pressured to find a new bike” by the group. The hospital employee, who Marino says is a six-months-pregnant physician assistant, was placed on leave by NYC Health + Hospitals this week after her heated encounter with the men emerged online Saturday and has been viewed tens of millions of times.

Marino called the caught-on-tape interaction “incomplete” and lacking facts.

He said after the health care worker wrapped up her 12-hour shift, she got on an available bike, “which no individuals were on or touching,” and paid for it through the Citi Bike app on her phone.

As she backed it up from the docking station, a group of five people approached her and claimed the bike was theirs, he said.

“One or more individuals in that group physically pushed her bike (with her on it) back into the docking station, causing it to re-lock,” Marino said in the written statement.

One of the individuals then covered the bike’s QR code, stopping her from paying for it again so she could leave, Marino said.

“In blocking the QR code, this individual’s arm was touching my client’s pregnant stomach, a condition of which she had made them aware,” he added. “Throughout this time and for the remainder of the video, roughly five individuals were telling her to get off the bike and heckling her.”

“The fact anyone would treat another person like this is tragic, especially a visibly pregnant woman,” he said.

The roughly 90-second clip that begins mid-confrontation shows the woman dressed in hospital-branded scrubs screaming for help as she tugs at the bike.

“Help! Help me! Please, help me,” she yells.

The young man kept his grip on the bike’s handlebars and repeatedly told the woman that he already paid to use that particular bike and it wasn’t hers. “Get off me! Get off me, you’re hurting my fetus,” the woman then shouted as she pushed the man away. “I’m not touching you! You’re putting your stomach on my hand,” the man replied.

Halfway through the clip, the hospital worker appears to start crying as another man in the same scrubs approached the melee to see what was going on.

The young man again claimed to the woman the bike was on his account and asked her to move before she rented another bike on the advice of her colleague.

Some social media users called the interaction racist while others compared the situation to when Amy Cooper called the police on a black birdwatcher in 2020 and lost her job over it. The NYPD said it did not receive any 911 calls over this incident. Marino said his client is a dedicated hospital worker who has treated “literally thousands of New York City residents of all backgrounds/ethnicities.”

“Simply, her entire life has been focused on helping others, irrespective of their background,” Marino said.

NYC Health + Hospitals called the video “disturbing” when announcing she was placed on leave Tuesday. The hospital system said she would remain on leave pending a review of the incident.

Marino declined to comment on anything tied to his client’s employment Wednesday.

NYC Health + Hospitals did not immediately return a request for a comment Wednesday.

That's not even what happened. The guy checked out the bike on his own app after shoving it back in the lock (with her on it). What they did was bad enough, you don't need to just make shit up.

Except the woman has two receipts, the first being the initial rental, for the bike in question, which lasted about a minute, before it was relocked. She then rented another bike after the incident to get home.

Even if, somehow, these guys rented the same bike before her, and locked it in place, which allowed the nurse to rent it, it was still her bike at the time. There's no proof the teens rented this same bike before her.

And it was at least assault to shove the bike back into the lock with her on it, possibly battery. She wasn't facing some imaginary $1,200 bill for it, though, since it was clearly no longer in her custody.

This is fascinating because it's the first time I've seen people say openly on twitter, word to the effect of course it's a group of niggers harassing a pregnant white woman who has an actual job.
They're starting to go back and point out the black birdwatcher was in the wrong in the Central Park fiasco too. I literally only saw maybe two or three people defend the white woman when that happened, but after more came out, people are calling that guys shit out. I think that one partially didn't get as much pushback because of the way the video was edited by the black guy. You saw her wigging out and jerking her dog back, so that made her look like an animal abuser initially.
Then all that shit came out about him purposefully luring dogs in the park with treats and people with more than room temperature IQs starting going "Wait a minute..."

Did we get that archived on the Farms? Can't recall seeing the aftermath of that.

There are also different causes of action like wrongful termination (although I think she is currently just suspended), since firing someone to retaliate against them for being the victim of a crime (arguably) is so obviously insane it might defeat the general presumption of employment-at-will.
A thing I read was about if a business doesn't suspend someone after allegations like this, then they're opening themselves up to legal problems from any black people (the minority in this case) she works with who can claim an unsafe working environment due to her 'known bigotry'. Is that plausible? It's equally vulnerable to being weaponised, and backfires far more often than they'd like to admit, but I was wondering if there was more of an incentive for businesses to cave so quickly than just being spineless, optics-obsessed retards.

Also, like every single thing that SJW groups make a big deal of, Karens are definitely a thing, but the moment they adopt the term they overuse it into meaninglessness. It's gone from the specific stereotype of a usually white woman to just any white woman who stands up for herself in the face of BIPOCs. Just like they're a TERF if they do it to troons, or a pickme if they do it to more progressive women.

It's been made even more meaningless. You don't even have to be doing it to a BIPOC, you don't actually need to be a woman (Although there have been attempts to coin a male version, I hear "Karen" applied to men, too), and now I've even seen it applied to black people sometimes.

It's literally anyone who stands up for themselves at this point.

This happened before, not too long ago, in the shadow of Gamergate... The word "entitled" basically became completely meaningless. It got to be where if you dared to dislike a game or complained about being sold a literal defective product you were "entitled".

Because we have a culture where 1) we are obsessed with being a nice person and 2) we've allowed these kinds of people to be the moral authorities on "niceness"

If they don’t bend the knee, they will get hounded by pee oh cees, white women, and kikes for making noble negroes feel “unsafe” if they continue to employ rabid raycists like Citibike Karen. Corporate cowardice may result in this woman getting fired, even if it means settling with her and her lawyer out of court. They may find it easier to cut her a check for a few hundred thousand than deal with the potential consequences of keeping her employed.

They could possibly insist on a few million on the grounds that she'll never get a job again thanks to their bullshit. Essentially her whole projected earnings for the rest of her life. That would be fair.

It's plausible that's why they did that, but in the absence of any actual evidence of bigotry, it's very stupid. If the suspension is with pay and eventually reversed, it's probably fairly harmless in the heat of the moment, but if they go on to fire her, it isn't. They may not say anything libelous while doing it (and probably won't) but since it would be a wrongful termination, they'd also be responsible for any direct consequences of it, like reputational harm.

Typical nigger behavior

See a lone white woman (easy mark) just check out a rentable public bike

Surround her and try to take it so you get a free ride and probably steal it to resell, there's no record connecting it to you

Cry racism when she actually stands up for herself against your niggerdry
I think in this case, the guy was actually following the rules, but the reservations got mixed up, which happens a lot in different situations.

But ok, let's assume that happened. This is a test for if you know how to behave whenever this happens, and this guy failed. If you go to a restaurant and they messed up your reservation, you don't kick the people out the table and scream, especially if the group is, let's say, a group with kids. The proper civilized thing to do is going to the manager and complain. Either ask them to give you another table or ask them the money back or whatever. FTR, whenever I've seen people losing their marbles over stuff like this, they rarely get a proper solution. It's when people act calmly that they give you refunds and even a proper apology. Most business have a protocol for when these things happen, but if you start yelling at them and act like a monkey, they are less likely to help you.

What the guy should have done, we all already said it, was letting the pregnant woman get the bike and only then call support and complain. It would have only taken him a few more minutes, probably the same he spent yelling at this woman.

I wish the 5 pavement apes were looked into and doxxxed. how much you want to bet they have previous arrests and are on welfare. Meanwhile a nurse gets her reputation smeared while these faggots disappear into the sunset. This lawyer better ruin Ben Crump and Tariq Nasheed, because this race baiting shit is getting old, and they're going to be on the wrong end of the race war they keep trying to provoke.
They aren't doxed because "WE ARE NOT LIKE THAT"™.

Her attorney created a twitter account:
"I created this account so individuals can tag me as to defamatory statements/videos made against Ms. Comrie.
I'm looking for comments labeling Ms. Comrie a:
1) Karen;
2) racist; and/or
3) thief. Also, videos referencing a third party doing the foreging is also actionable."

Found the tweet sent to him, still up and proud.

She seems stable. Here's her bragging that she has totally owned this lawyer

Another where she claims in a stable and normal manner that because other people were "racist" on social media when talking about it this woman is racist herself. She also failed to lock it down initially so you get an actual look at real world reactions to her.

And here's one of her fellow black journalists supporting her

My wading in Twitter brought up the suggestion Ben Crump deleted his tweet about this, anyone seen it/got an archive? If he's backtracking that suggests someone' s doing a good job.

Edit - another fun find is this place.

I have no idea about it but one of the posts was this;

Do we need to state the obvious for you? The people spewing the term Karen at every opportunity are MAGAs, Incels, and some POC women.
So they might be worthy grounds for finding incredibly dumb opinions.
