Obscure vidya OSTs

Anyone know of any obscure vidya OSTs that are really good I can only think of the neotokyo soundtrack which is better than the actual game.

[Premium Gonzo]

Cradle is a janky euro trash game and when it released the devs didn't allow the OST to be bought or even downloaded i went full austist hunted it down and pirated it years ago. Went back to check and the finally uploaded it on steam as a separate purchase.

The Collapse was another euro jank game but had incredible soundtrack by Newtone. A very talented Russian musician i am absolutely obsessed with this album, thankfully you can buy it on his Bandcamp The Path both the vocal version and the cello version are incredible.

 

[Too Many Catgirls]

Diamond Trust of London for the Nintendo DS has a really interesting soundtrack/engine. Here is the developer explaining it.

This game is also pretty cool.

The waterworld map theme. Again, much better than the game.

 

[Oliver Onions]

Koei-Tecmo's much maligned Destrega has an absolute banger of a battle theme. I spent hours as a teenager trying to figure out how to rip the audio from the demo disc I had.

This fighting game also has some great tunes.

Sacred has a fantastic OST. Really wish that game got remastered, because the Reborn mod while great doesn't fix the biggest issues like the absolutely abhorrent engine which manages to drop below 30 on modern machines.

The soundtrack was done by Griff, who also did a bunch of scene stuff and then just fucking died.

Edit: Since we're here, Tyrian OST is GOAT (although I'm not sure Tyrian counts as so 'obscure')

This was by Brandon Alexander, who also did bunch of demoscene stuff and more mainstream titles (Unreal, Deus Ex, Thief, Bejeweled)

Not quite as obscure but remember that one time Blind Guardian gave a concert in Sacred 2 as a quest

Mu Online an old Korean MMO had the most incredible sound track, hands down the Lorencia Pub Theme was the most popular song. One of the composers was Jesper Kyd who also created the first borderlands sound track (which is a favourite of mine)

This is an absolute classic.

Also every soundtrack Tim Follin has worked on.
