Channels that aren't on the front page and don't have over a million subscribers. For example: Oneyplays and Redlettermedia wouldn't count.

Guy has some production value and knows his horror shit. Some of the jokes don't land but overall it's a great channel.

Dude has a pleasant voice and really goes over the BTS and everything with the wrestlers and the matches. He focuses on the golden age of wrestling from the 90's until early/mid 00's.

Maybe cheating a little but this is a great docu channel on obscure/weird subjects. I know there's some fans of this one in the Down the Rabbit Hole thread.

I have never regretted clicking on a BG Kumbi video. Not too obscure, but just obscure enough.

Inaka Adventure is a small channel I bookmarked when he superchatted Nick Rekieta years ago. He has recently found some algorithmic success with his Japan/travel/photography videos. If I want to test out a monitor, I would put on one of his 4K nature videos.

TechTechPotato is Ian Cutress, formerly of AnandTech. I consider him more obscure and knowledgeable than some other under-1mil tech channels I could put here.

spaceXcentric is the based SpaceX news channel. He has 165k subs on YouTube, and 166k on Rumble.

Do dead/half-dead channels count? I've realized that's like half my subscriptions now.
Among The Hidden, a channel with a handful of interesting videos using Age of Empires 2 as a medium. Unfortunately, it seems like some of the old ones were removed/taken down. I'm not sure why.
Foul Energy, who first got some attention with Total War: Warhammer videos, but also made videos talking about other games he liked, like Rain World or the SMT series. He has an interesting editing style. I like his video about "Btubers."
There's also DoshDoshington, who has an actual living channel, mostly focusing on Factorio and its mods, but I think his best ones are on more obscure titles.

if you like kinda niche technology stuff, posy is super underrated. he makes really interesting videos with cool music (he makes the songs too i think). very heady stuff, super comfy

Vadim M, a grand theft auto youtuber who cover behind the scene and hidden content stuff,
his videos are super in depth and well produce, he's russian so he hires another youtuber named Badger Goodger to narrate his videos who also covers similar topic in his channel

GTV Japan, a retro game youtuber that cover retro game, tv, manga, and various obscure topics
his videos are hit & miss for me but they are still enjoyable as background noise

SegaLordX, the sega version of snes drunk

and then various saints row youtubers which is a rare commodity right now like (mrsaintsgodzilla21, RPGGameplay, Flippy)

This really autistic guy called Nman Gaming has been making a "first person life" series. I don't know if it's a bit or not but he's like a severely retarded
Frank Hassle and it's hilarious. It has Hassle / Sam Hyde-esc editing too. Pretty sure it's a fan.

This guy is either gonna blow up or get arrested soon. He's much less confident or rude than the two mentioned prior so he'll probably get his ass kicked too.

Gonna drop a few.

Danooct1 - Definitely a youtuber that was bigger a decade ago, but still uploads very sporadically. His whole thing is showing off, explaining, and educating about old Windows and DOS viruses and other malware. Very comfy recording style, pitch black room pointed at a monitor. His videos have basically been the same the entire time, only video and audio quality has improved.

Digging The Greats - Fat Gen X guy that breaks down the details and production of a old hip hop tracks, where the samples came from, and the stories behind them. The recreations and overall smoothness/production quality of the videos are really the strong suit. He knows how to keep things moving quickly while still being informative and entertaining.

Swegle Studios - Young extreme weather/tornado buff, lots of interesting videos about stories of tornados, the types of tornados/clouds, even things like the evolution of tornado footage through the decades. One of those guys that just has a real passion for the subject and wants to make videos about it.

Grand Illusions - One of the only good Brits on this Earth. Geriatric autistic man shows off all sorts of unusual toys and knick knacks. Channel has been going on for over a decade, with just him sat at a table showing off his collection of different themes of toys. Very very kind and sweet old man just talking about his collection.

Running Shine - Only a few videos, but they put other long-form reviews of games to shame. Some of the funniest shit on the internet. Videos by a group of people, very long form-indepth reviews of games. They know their shit, too, especially when it comes to music. They also have streams where they draw or play games. Very good background noise at the most.

Justin Hawkins Rides Again - Lead singer from that one-hit-wonder band The Darkness, they did that song I Believe In A Thing Called Love. Just him reacting and giving his thoughts on different music, artists, and his history. Nice guy.

Jimothy Ross Like Sseth but even more frantically edited and funny, in my opinion. 20-40 minute videos on games (mostly popular ones) but the editing and voice over collaboration/jokes really rise above most other game review/explanation channels. Epileptics beware.

The History Squad - Another old British dude. Storyteller about a lot of graphic and interesting medieval history. Videos range from gory stories of executions and bow-and-arrow injuries to very informative and entertaining walkthroughs of old castles and manors from centuries ago, and the things hidden inside them, whether it's places for priests to hide, or murder holes hidden above gates to defend the castle against invaders. He's got an eye for the macabe, let that be known.

Protopod/Steve Sutton Middle aged shut-in dude who's been uploading vlogs since 2006 about his life. You might have seen his videos before, has has some absolutely ancient ones about being a Wal-Mart greeter. He likes Star Trek and South Park, and really likes making these weird animations based on them, as well as his own ideas. Some real Rapsittie Street Kids energy, but they aren't terrible. Just stuff he likes making.

You Can't Unhear This - You can probably tell I like the history of modern music production and recording. These videos are analysis's of weird oddities and quirks inside classic Beatles songs that are hard to notice if you're listening to it casually. Weird audio edits and background sounds, cut guitar solo recordings that you can still hear in the room mic recordings of other instruments, making them only appear as ghosts of what the recordings were before. If you like stuff like that, it's a good channel.

Lyle Shnub is the only Let's Play channel I can stand, he actually does complete playthroughs of RPGs in an entertaining way - an hour per episode and his playthroughs last for literally years. Highlights are his Skyrim, Oblivion and Morrowind playthroughs but he does non-Bethesda stuff too. Shorts made his channel blow up recently, but the new viewers aren't annoying so it's all good.

BlakeO561 catalogs as much hardcore rasslin he can get his hands on. Most of it is incredibly gory and graphic, and he narrates monotonously what is about to happen, so it may not be everyone's cup of tea even for wrestling aficionados.

Rock n' Roll True Stories is, as the name implies, focused on neat stories about good ol' rock and roll. Curious tales, stories of obscure/forgotten bands, stories behind famous songs, you name it.

The Math Sorcerer is a pretty cool math master that often posts about textbooks from all generations, general studying tips and even some decent motivationals. Don't let his weird-ass looks deceive you: If you can't learn math with him, you won't learn with anybody else.

Shadowserg does no-damage boss runs, mostly for retro games. Nice if you want to see how to defeat certain games with a perfect score, though they are more into obscure stuff.

Kenny Lauderdale has some pretty sweet mini-docs about obscure anime. Pity he doesn't upload more often, but what we have is definitely worth a watch.

Sandwiches of History is a dude who makes sandwiches from old cookbooks. Each video is straight to the point, and most of them run for less than 2 minutes.

Oddity Archive dredges up obscure tech and ephemera from the second half of the 20th Century. Think along the lines of Techmoan crossed with Found Footage Fest, presented by a guy doing his best Steven Wright impression whilst hiding behind a cardboard box.

Patrick Boyle is a hedge fund manager who is good at breaking down how finance works. His delivery comes across as a little deadpan, but he is easy to understand and throws in some dry humour.

Wandering Turnip is a Bri'ish travel vlogger who vlogs around Britain's shittiest towns. Kinda like Bald and Bankrupt, only if he was stuck in the UK and not at all skeezy.

There seems to be a few music channels ITT, many of which I already follow, so I'll throw a few more:
- Yesterday's Papers (mainly '60s stuff)
- Trash Theory (new wave, punk, post-punk etc)
- Luke Million (synthesizer nerd from Australia)
- Doctor Mix (like the Rick Beato of EDM, only if Rick was German and shot out of a cannon)
- pdbass (bass guitar nerd)

There are a shitload of others, but they're probably too autistic for this thread.

I mostly watch art and rad fem/anti-troon channels, I'm not gonna lie, but I have a few others.

Peter Draws Just under the 1 million mark, so it passes on technicality. I think a portion of those are dead accounts anyway. North Carolina based artist who does sort of abstract highly detailed art. Since going back to college, he posts videos of college projects as well, like sculptures. He laos does fountain pen reviews. I saw someone on /ic/ once say "I hate that zentangle faggot" in a thread about art Youtubers. Considering how many anime pedos use /ic/ in hopes of making porn, their attempts at insults don't matter.

SLEW NYC artist with a graffiti background artist who got into traditional art in college. He now runs his own studio so people can come and draw from live models, so his output has slowed a bit. Laid back guy, and looks and sounds like the type of guy that would be named "Slew".

Teoh Yi Chie Singapore based artist who works largely in watercolor and ink. He does a lot of urban drawing, as well as pretty detailed and informative reviews of various art products.

Non-art related channels:

Cartoonist Kayfabe If you read comics, you know this one. Pretty good discussion on comics, without retarded culture war bullshit from either the woke side or the even stupider comicsgate side.

Robert E Fuller High quality animal videos, mostly focused on birds. Multiple 24 hour livestreams of animal dens. Based in the UK.

BIG PICTURE with James Patrick Interviews and documentaries. The Jennifer Bilek video is essential to watch about troon madness.

I also follow local type channels, the one that might be of interest (at least to other autists like me) here is the The Language & Life Project It's produced by NC State University, and focuses on language and dialects, including many dying dialects and accents in North Carolina. Some videos are probably skippable, but the ones on Appalachian English, various coastal accents, and the Dialects in Southern Cities ones are worth watching. The Dialects in Southern Cities one is honestly kind of blackpilling. Charlotte has become the second biggest banking center behind NYC, so locals are told to get rid of their accents, otherwise they may offend businessmen elsewhere. An old lady talks about this. Some boomer man says that is the price to pay for "progress" in the South, failing to see how losing something as benign as an accent is not progress.

RealLifeRyan: Buff ginger sperg who does videos on anime and movie/horror retrospectives. He's a little cringey but there's some actual deep waters behind him, does a lot of videos on self reflection and self improvement. I hope someday he breaks into the wider sphere of relevance, because despite having over 100k subs, he only gets lots of views when he talks about berserk. I hope there's success for him in the future, he's one of the few pop culture youtubers I've seen that's actually very thoughtful/isn't a vapid twat. Kind of one of those "if he can do it I can do it" sorts of youtubers, endearing.

Hochelaga: Probably not as obscure as these others but he does videos on old religious art and how traditions and aesthetics developed over time. You wouldn't believe how many mistakes or artistic decisions led to long held traditions, somehow this guy tracks down the origins of these things and makes them clear. It's given me a new outlook on how people in the past interpreted things as well as how we view history. I also like the weird pictures and funny looking angels tee hee

Hydef Hyde: As obscure as it gets. Random guy doing videos on vidya games, I mostly follow him for his videos on Demon's Souls. He does probably the best videos on Souls lore I've ever seen, because he looks at what the art is actually inspired by and infers what the themes are, not the plot. Way more interesting to watch than typical gay lore videos.

Dovahhatty: Been missing in action for about a year, but did a pretty funny series on the history of the roman and byzantine empires, told entirely through wojaks. If that sounds too autistic to handle I don't blame you. Has the right amount of visual flair in his editing, it's not too fast, but every new slide or image has a fun little joke in it if you're paying attention. Currently doing "unbiased" in universe histories of media properties like Game of Thrones, Elden Ring, and hopefully soon, Fallout New Vegas.

I just stumbled upon Society of Virtue the other day, they have hundreds of short animated cartoons retelling really basic jokes that parody superhero comics and movies using thinly-disguised generic knock off characters and settings.

Sadly no updates in three years but the back catalog is extensive.

Attention Bajoran TTRPG Nerds!

Djthorsilver has 180+ videos reviewing and examining Star Trek and other older Role Playing Games as well as various puzzle boxes if you're into that.
