This past year we've gotten some real bad products coming out (I'll post some game videos here, but can be anything really) that come across as obviously trying to sell you a bridge. What have you come across that is just shameless advertising of terrible products?

I've never seen anything like that, but have you guys ever heard of the mangosteen? It's a tropical fruit grown in Southeast Asia. That's not important, though. What's important is that it's been called a superfood, and how the juice revitalizes and energizes me. I feel like I could climb a mountain with one arm after drinking one glass of the stuff. And it tastes so damn good, too. Not just any mangosteen juice, though. You need to specifically buy mangosteen juice from Sneed Farms using promo code 'SCHWARZWALD' for no particular reason. I've tried lots of brands, and the Sneed Farms mangosteen juice is the only one that has an effect on me. The mangosteen juice from other brands just doesn't taste as good, nor does it have the same revitalization properties.

Wicked. I'm so sick of hearing about it. You'd think it was the next Citizen Kane the way it's been talked about. Some triumph of cinematic art that will be remembered for generations. :roll:

Dead Rising (2006)?was fantastic for its time because Capcom had just left its long 10-year phase as a zombie horror outlet, but during that time, they had tons of comedic relief they couldn’t well fit into resident evil (1996)

Dead rising was their way to relieve that outlet. Like, jamming a shower head into a zombies head. Whacking them with a plastic beam sword. Throwing soda cans at them. Or using a weed-whacker against them. Or just general silliness.

Then RE4 came along and changed fucking everything and the rest is history
 
The dead island torso statue. Also the game they advertised by the goat slaughter irl or whatever it was.
 
I got the Indiana Jones game for free when I bought an RTX 4070 Ti Super a few days ago. I haven't played it yet because I have had time to install the GPU yet. It's tied to the GPU it seems, and the code can't be activated on the 2070 Super I have now. I have heard it's pretty fun. But I have also heard some shitty things about the game. Poor enemy AI super simple puzzles. To me it just sounds like a dumb fun game meant for fans of the Indiana Jones movies. I saw a cut scene where the two women featured in the game talk about a lesbian relationship. It seems they kept the woke shit to a minimum in the game. I wouldn't pay full price for it myself. I would wait for a good sale.

If you want a better Indiana Jones game, then I guess it's Tomb Raider or the Uncharted games.

I think the best game that handled women being gay in the olden days was The Last Express.
 
The first thing that comes to mind is all the positive reviews the Silent Hill 2 remake got. As soon as I saw them (all posted on the same day) my immediate reaction was "so is this what's gonna kick off Gamergate 2?"

I regret not screenshoting this, but back when Starfield first released there where a ton of "totally not shills" praising the game and talking about its supposed "massive open world, complex storyline and realistic natural-sounding dialogue" then the Fallout TV series comes out and once again the praise mentions the "realistic natural-sounding dialogue"... yeah super realistic "natural" dialogue man:
Another interesting point was the "Nigger-stamping" on /tv/ where on one thread about the series the OP asked everyone to use the word NIGGER to show they were real persons as bots and paid shills weren't allowed to type the word and lo and behold 99% of the negative critics had the "Nigger stamp" while 99% of the positive critics did not mention the word and some even included something like "come on guys saying the n-word is childish" further proving OP's point.
