IIRC, there were counties in Florida that had more Bush votes than they did registered voters. He lost by two close states though, unlike Gore. I think he needed Ohio. I never really looked into whether Ohio had weird shit going on too, but it's a US election so probably.

There hasn’t been a winner. All that’s been counted is popular voted and media predictions based on those. Said predictions are a very good indicator of who will win, so if the media across the board is saying its looking like Biden is getting away with 300 electorals or what the fuck ever, he’ll almost certainly be getting the win.

This is because America is not a direct democracy, it’s a republic, which means the popular vote is the people telling their representatives how they want them to vote, so come December when the official electoral votes are cast, unless an elector wants to lose their job and stain their career forever, they’ll vote according to the popular vote, but it’s not a guarantee.

Trump could end up with every single electoral vote and win 538 - 0. He won’t, but it’s a possibility allowed by the system.

So functionally it’s over and Biden is the winner, but it’s not official yet.

I don't know if his concern was that they'd be conveniently lost in the mail or what, but I don't think this had any impact on the outcome of any part of this election.

The thing about political correctness in the 90's is it largely came about due to legislation and legal rulings, so corporations and government offices were forced to do shallow diversity training that no body liked. The counter culture at the time rejected it, because it was transparently phony and coming in from the main vectors of "The Man." Back in the 00s, 80% of the voting machines were from companies run by Republican mega-donors. Now, all the machines, at least in the most populated parts of the swing states are controlled by one company with direct democrat party insider ties. I wonder if the only reason that Trump won in 2016 is that they didn't bother to rig it because they were so high on their own farts that they thought that they didn't need to.

Blame the education system that does not teach in depth about it, they gloss over the compromise of 1877 and the bargain of 1824. Rather than discussing in depth why these events are important. It's taught like something from ancient times and America is too first world for voter fraud. It also destroys the leader of the free world narrative set by neoliberals and neoconservatives if it turns out that voter fraud actually does happen.

Maybe that is why there is silence from Biden rather than telling Trump to go get fucked and declare himself the victor tonight. They don't want an investigation into this that could allow the outside world to see America has major issues.

That's why it's retarded to make that your legal claim and set that kind of a bar for yourself. All that has to be proven is that ballots are invalid, not fraudulent. And the idea of "voter fraud" is a mirage anyway. That's so rare as to be nearly nonexistent. Where the fraud would happen is in the counting.

To be fair, that is the case in PA - that votes are invalid (not fraudulent) because the deadline was itself unconstitutionally extended (probably an oversimplification).

There's also the unsigned ballots that the election board ordered counted, but I don't know if those are part of the existing lawsuit or will be part of a new suit.

But he's fucked there anyways. I'm pretty sure PA had agreed to track those ballots before election day, which clearly they didn't if the Repubs had to go to the Supreme Court to tell them to track 'em. PA's election board fucked him good on that one. Now he's only going to possibly get a couple thousand invalidated instead of 10s of thousands.

When it comes to voter fraud in general with mail in ballots, we have no fucking clue how often it happens because the only place it happens are so hardcore democrat that there's no need for any larger-scale fraud operation (except Utah which is so far Republican and Mormon that there's no need).

Not only that but there's only a couple of forms of fraud that are even findable. A MITM attack and ballot swap would be completely undiscoverable, for example (at least by anyone even semi-competent). The only ones they can catch and have caught are duplicate voting and fraudulent request/use of absentee ballots.

Not one single investigation into it, AFAIK, has even bothered to go door to door and ask if the person who signed the envelope actually voted. Not one study has been done to see if there was at home voter intimidation.

I'd love to see a full, deep, meaningful investigation in every single battleground state of specifically mail in ballots just so we can get some meaningful fucking data.

I think it's more that Biden wants to be the adult in the room and wait for the science to be settled before declaring victory. It doesn't matter in the slightest what the world thinks of America's electoral system. The legitimacy of elections is something that's put into question by America when they want to topple a government. The only geopolitical rivals the US has aren't legitimate democracies anyway and Europeans already see this as a complete shitshow. Optics are out the window.

I don't think he was implying his voters were so stupid he could do that, considering he said at at a campaign rally. The point of that comment is he's so fucking badass that he could kill someone publicly and still be president because no one would swap sides over that.
