I voted third party, no lines, in and out in 10 mins. I live in a blue state/east coast but only saw Trumpers actually out in the cold waving signs today.

Lots of rumors about those internet shut downs and whatnot happening closer to results time.

Can Bernie-babies, Antifa and BLM even be relied on to vote at all? They strike me as being so foaming-at-the-mouth rabid that they'd totally forego even trying to vote to ramp up their rage when Annoying Orange retakes office.

They aren’t. Among their number are rage-babies for sure but the general consensus from my observations has been “vote for the conditions you want to protest under” and for all of them, that means kicking Trump to the curb. I’ve also noticed a pretty hefty trend of “I’m against guns but if this is how it’s going to be...” sentiment among many leftists who have now armed themselves in preparation for this election. I’m friends with a variety of the more civil people on both sides of the coin and every single Biden supporter I know has gotten their CCL in the last 6 months. A lot of the stereotypes memes like to push are dead in the water now.

to give you some context: I had to stop going to holiday events for my Mother-In-Law's side of the family because literally all they did was talk about how evil and awful Trump was. There were no conversations outside of that beyond the first 10 minutes of meeting. This happened for every event 2.5 years in a row (roughly 10 in total I attended).

I very much doubt any of them are missing election day.

That's the mentality I can agree with. I live in a state where it's kind of a battlground. Could go either way. But even in a state where it's deep blue or red, why not vote still? If lots of people have the "why bother" mentality and don't vote, of course it will stay a certain color. And even if those votes don't change anything, so what? Counties are easier to make the change you want to see or cheesy rhetoric like that.

It's peoples' rights to vote or not, but not doing it because it's "futile" is kind of self defeating imo. But hey, it's not my responsibility in the end. Reminds me of a friend I had in high school whose family was religious and didn't vote because it was "worldly". But they still paid taxes, benefited from government institutions, and complained about the country sometimes. Seems like they participated in "the world" despite their beliefs so it felt rather silly to be hung up about voting.

Hillary won New York state by 23 points.

I would consider Biden winning by 14-15 points, like 55-41, to be a massive Republican victory.

I've had my suspicions that the bernie bros would just silently not vote as they almost seemed to hate biden more than hilary. The video below was released just last night by a hardcore bernie guy who briefly worked for bernies campaign back in the spring. I think a lot of bernie people really just can't stomach biden at all.

It'll be really close, I think. I can see Biden just scraping by, but only because the Democrats have been working themselves into a lather trying to get everyone Ridin' with Biden. I don't want to believe the powers that be would commit election fraud in current year just to oust Orange Man, but with how 2020 is going & how everyone in the U.S. has seemingly become completely unglued between COVID, locking down, widespread rioting, etc., it wouldn't surprise me. Especially after media outlets/Twitter/FB tried to suppress the Hunter Biden story/Joe's dirty dealings so hard. I would have completely ignored it or dismissed it as a retarded QAnon Boomer conspiracy theory if they hadn't pulled out all the stops trying to scrub any mention of it.
