According to the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, it is 100 seconds to midnight.

For those of us who aren't boomers, this is the clock that determines how, metaphorically, close to thermonuclear armageddon we are. It's a relic from the Cold War. At 100 seconds to midnight, we're allegedly closer to horrible burny radioactive death than during either Able Archer 83 or the Cuban Missile Crisis. Which makes you wonder whether they are not just shrieking about how the sky is falling.

If Orange Man wins, how many seconds closer to midnight will it move? I'm thinking at least 20.

How much of it is due to actual geo-political happenings and not just Trump Derangement Syndrome? TDS and poisoned the well of so many "experts" and once formally reputable people. I could easily see the types to be involved with that sort of project going "NUH MUY GAWED, IF THE ORANGE MAN IS RE ELECTED, HE'S JUST GOING TO START NUKING MEXICO BECAUSE THE THOUGHT OF BROWN CHILDREN SUFFERING GIVES HIM SEXUAL PLEASURE!"

The doomsday clock has, since the very beginning, been nothing but a way for below average scientists to throw a tantrum while making it look like they're being le logical gentlesirs. Every time someone disagrees with them they move the clock ahead and say SEE LOOK EVERYONE'S GONNA DIE BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T DO WHAT I WANT. It's the world's least potent threat because the endgame is they set it to midnight, make an exploding sound with their mouths, and then stand around for a while not knowing what to do when nothing happens.

Which is why they went to two and a half minutes, then 100 seconds. I get the impression the time to midnight is kinda logarithmic. I can imagine them being all, "naahh, it'll be fine" when there's a full on superpower faceoff over Taiwan and putting it back to five minutes because we have a "rational, adult, sensible" leader in the West, but because we aren't all bowing and scraping to the Swedish Doom Goblin right now it's all YOU CAN PANIC NOW, WHY AREN'T YOU PANICKING.

What a lot of people don't realize is this election is for the world's sake, not just "orange vs sleepy", because the Democrats are provably, through Biden, affiliated with China's CCP and Trump has been maneuvering with Korea and especially Japan jointly to make sure China doesn't get too ahead of itself, as well as selling MAJOR weaponry to Taiwan to protect against a Chinese invasion--which is actually likely to occur.

Fact is, if Biden wins the election America won't fall

If Biden wins get ready for every move made against China to be reversed, for our allies to start shifting away from us and for America to wholesale suck off China indefinitely, especially if the court gets packed with these liberal retards who are Bezmenov'd and money hungry to such a degree they'll sacrifice even themselves to a stronger power.
