Love nectar
Great ingredient for cookies, too.

If it wasn't intended to be a democracy then what was it intended to be?
Constitutional Republic, hence why both Dems and Reps always make laws and changes to laws at the highest court level by "interpreting" the language of the Constitution, why the Constitution takes precedence in all things in American law, etc.
Like Jesh mentioned during a thread that Britbongs said: the Constitution is to America what the Bible is to Christians
Of course that comes with the "reinterpretation" issue as well, hence why "gay marriage" was legalized

Can't wait for twenty years from now when all firearms laws and rights are repealed because the Second Amendment was literally reinterpreted to mean "bear arms" or something, or how any and all possession of anime or pictures of loved ones will be banned because of a new interpretation on the 13th amendment

I'm not american, how can they say Biden won in Vermont when only 10% of the ballots have been counted there?
To be clear being "called" means nothing other than media and statisticians have decided there is a near zero chance of the other side coming back. They still count the rest of the votes and everything.

Japanese Twitter endorses Trump, confirmed

The AP is calling Virginia for Biden, with 14% of the votes counted and Trump in the lead?

Ooooo-kay.
Have to look at the counties. If Richmond and Northern Virginia haven't been counted yet, early Virginia results don't matter. Richmond and NoVA dominate the state and NoVA is home of the Swamp. Trust me, actual Virginians despise NoVA with the fury of a thousand suns, but can't really do anything about it.

Yeah, I remember 2016, sitting there all evening with Florida glowing blue, feeling good that Orange Man Bad wasn't going to win after all--and then BAM! it flipped to red, and stayed that way.

I was utterly horrified, that night, and spent the next two years as a full-on TDS sufferer. But it's amazing how much can change in four years. Tonight, when Florida flips to red and stays there, I am going to laugh so fucking hard.
Yeah, I could be wrong on this, but any state that flips red tonight will probably stay that way. Because I expect every state to start blue.
