What I want to know if what happens in 2024. Trump will be too old for a second term and Biden is arguably already too old for his upcoming term.

Biden winning was pretty expected. Its just disappointing.
What's happening now is something that was predicted more than a month ago:
- Trump leads
- Stop counting
- Everybody goes to sleep
- Suddenly while everybody is asleep a bunch of mail in ballots show up; all in favor for Biden
- People wake up and suddenly Biden is leading.

Unless we get some major decision from Scotus or actual voter fraud is legit found. Only thing left is seeing where Arizona and Nevada go

Nah, man, a lot of innocent people would have been killed AND we'd have to deal with radioactive glass and dust everywhere.

Did you not see me putting Obama on blast for killing brown children with drones for eight fucking years?
Obama did kill brown children? That's the reason he got the Peace Nobel Price, I guess. /cynism

And thus, this era comes to a close. It was a nice era, everyone... as the sun rises, I feel confident in the next one.

Seems like from here on out, elections in america, and likely elsewhere, will be handled solely by courts.

The supreme court may not dictate it but either next election or the one after, maybe even 2 years from now, it will become commonplace to file lawsuits over losing an election 'unfairly'.

Like it or not, this is the reality democrats have deigned to create. We must live with the consenquences.... which are surprisingly nice. The courts won't put up with the bullshit dems are committing and they won't appreciate the republicans spinelessness. It will force both parties to adapt and potentially cull some chaff.

However this will not solve our democracies greatest weakness. The bar for presidency is ever lowering... and soon enough, we'll have a president that is a convicted felon. Further, supreme court precedent makes one fact very clear: The conditions to be president will not be changed. What they were then and what they are now shall not be changed.

This is the future ladies and gentleman. The world did not end. America is not over.... but the future is not bright... unless you're a kiwi, because then the morning sun has just risen and there is a field of laughs to be harvested.

And that is why conservatives fight a loosing battle.
I don't disagree with you. But I would rather lose standing for my principles than win by sacrificing what I believe in.

A lot of the people on the left and especially the Progressives seem deeply unhappy and angry at the world. I choose to be happy and to have a positive outlook. I may not win, but their formula is not a winner either and the time they do have is spent going from one rage to the next.

I'm not going to play that game.

Israel was facing a voting clusterfuck of similar propertions, but avoided it because the two candidates realized that their nations democraxy was at stake and that half a term is better than none and entered a power sharing agreement.

Rate me optimistic as fuck, but given how split the country is, it would be nice if Biden and Trump decided on something like this: Trump gets two more years (maaaybe with Biden as a veep) and then Biden takes over for two years with Trump or Pence as VP.

Fuck it might even work. Biden is corrupt yes, but he’s as moderate just like Trump.

The best part is that the media and far left would absolutely fucking hate it and seethe with rage, while all the regular folks would see it as two candidates who put the nation first.
That's because Parliament systems was designed to force compromise. So did the American system initially and then they fucked it all up.

Those boost of what, 150K for Biden and 0 for Trump in WI and MI are both fucking weird, and I think Trump would be well within his rights to order an investigation into that, just as Biden could if it were the other way around. If they had said, "oh, 90K were Biden, and 60K were for Trump," I wouldn't even question that, because of all the talk of Dems voting early, but that 100% of those votes were for Biden? That seems fishy to me

anyway what's with the doomposting, yall? it's not so bad, delicious salt can be mined from either side regardless of who wins.

Peeps just sad about possible further lockdowns and idpol continuing. The economy was already fucked, so it might be mega fucked moving forward.

But at the same time, its not like democrats have to keep any promises or pander to progressives on a win. They might just be like "we caution you to use a mask", open back up everything, and clamp down on communists and BLM with a fury.

Its going to be interesting to see what happens if Biden wins.
