Well, that explains it.

Seriously, dude, I know I've been dunking on you all night, but mixing that shit isn't good for you, and neither is being such a doomer. Also, you've said you're pursing a career in medicine, and trust me, man, if you get busted doing that shit, your ass is gonna be grass.

Just take a breath, and calm down. Everything's going to be okay.
I'm calmer now but I still things are fucked. I'll be quiet about it though. If things prove me wrong in the coming years, that'll be great.

Record levels of autism.
Record levels of butthurt. Stop your crying and put me in a BDS thread. Get your laughs.

What do you think the likelihood is of Trump dragging this lawsuit/tantrum all the way to the Supreme Court, in the expectation that the person he just pushed into the position will tip the scales in his favor?

And what do you think the likelihood is of him somehow holding onto his presidency this way, god forbid?
I think there's a decent chance that it goes to the Supreme Court. Trump is a master of the tantrum. If it does go to the Supreme Court they'll likely adhere to whatever each state constitution says, because strangely enough, I think those conservative judges actually give a shit about the constitution. They kick back Republican decisions all the time because they hate commenting on things, and this would be a very big comment.

All I know is that my man Trump continue to fuel the fire and do crazy shit for the rest of his term.

Holding on to the presidency? Like... 20%? Fuck I don't even know anymore.

Absolute zero on both.

It's not what you know its what you can prove. And Trump can't prove shit. Too bad he didn't invest his 4 years more wisely than shitposting on Twitter.

Virtually 100%. I honestly do not expect him to concede even if the court fails him. I think there has been enough perceived fuckery (I personally think that, at most, fuckery may have changed only a few thousand votes nationally, not enough to matter) that he can sit in the White House and go "yeah it was a sham election, I demand a rematch with some absurd stipulations or I'm not moving." There is literally nothing in the Constitution that accounts for this. There is no course of action for anyone to take within the confines of the law. The US doesn't have laws for snap elections or redos like European countries or Israel.

When you're that drunk on political spergery along with booze and prozac, very little is actually going to be okay.

But seriously, stop being such a whiny faggot about the whole thing. How I learned to stop worrying and enjoy the shitshow is by realizing that it's probably going to affect very little in my day-to-day life as it is, unless, worst case scenario, we suffer massive online curtailment due to federal bullshittery. So, unless you similarly get fucked over by us going full commienet, gibbucks being fucked with, or taxes fucking you in the ass, it's all gonna be same shit, different president. Just with hopefully more things to laugh at on the political stage over the next four years.

Voter fraud did not happen. You guys are even more pathetic than the numale soyboys you've made fun of for the past four years. At least most of them aren't hypocritical retards.

I'm okay with your cope and seethe posting now, even though it's extremely embarrassing for you. Probably the best source of unironic meltdowns we've had in a long time. Sure /pol/ is also melting down in a similar fashion but it's harder to tell how many of them are just falseflagging and it's much more volatile than this.

I was just having a very similar discussion with someone. I can't imagine him conceding either. Nor can I imagine him participating in some of the quaint niceties such as leaving a letter for the incoming in the oval office, nor Biden's inauguration should it get to that point.

This really is suss, isn't it?

There was NO hype around Biden, yet he managed to get more votes than Obama did when he ran for president.

If this does go to the Supreme Court, even if after the recounts and whatever else show that Biden wins, could the judges just decide "Eh, fuck you, Trump 4 more years" and get away with it? I don't know much about how the court works other than just 9 old people voting on stuff so maybe I'm just being retarded.
They could theoretically rule that there are invalid votes that aren't in line with the law (for example, ones counted after the deadline in WI, PA, and GA and all the signature-less ballots in PA).

They could also Bush V Gore to stop a recount that's unfavorable to Trump (technically they could do the same for Biden if that situation came up).

Outside of that though they don't really have much if any authority to do anything.

Congress does though, as the electoral results can be contested (i.e. if it's somehow proven there was mass voter fraud) but that option has never been and likely will never be taken. Especially since it looks like the Dems are going to narrowly keep the house (takes both chambers to approve).
