Dems: 'The Squad' has increased in size and influence as moderate Dems have lost seats and the Dems won't expand their hold on congress. The Dems are more reliant on their support now. I'm afraid the dem socialists and 'progressives' will be arrogantly emboldened to try to hold Biden over a barrel to demand concessions on legislation to get their vote.

Repubs: if they try to thwart everything Biden does to make him a lame-duck prez for their own benefit in 2022/4 rather than having the more moderate Repubs work with Dems to craft legislation, which would be better for the people.

My opinions haven't changed just because the media has decided to try and play Kingmaker.

I already said that the continuation of the counts didn't even matter to me because so many cases opened up to contest and audit the votes. Until then, I'm standing right where I started until all of the active litigation is settled and one side of the race concedes the election. Until then, nothing about this is a settled issue and everything is still in flux.

1. Normally social media is protected by the Communications Decency Act (CDA), in that the website host can't be held liable for the postings of users; one would have to identify the users themselves and take them to court.

(If not, then someone like Trump could sue Facebook, Reddit, Wikipedia, or any site whose users post potentially defamatory claims about him and have it sued out of business.)

2. I'm sure that law enforcement monitors individuals on social media who are considered to be a credible threat, if social media wasn't around then it might be a potential negative, since individuals who are serious threats might go undetected.
