The courts themselves can't order it, but Congress sure as shit can when they meet to count and affirm the electoral votes (fun fact: Pence will be chairing that), which seems to be one of the plays. Congress can, should they so choose, just flat out ignore the electoral college and refuse to accept their vote. I don't think it's ever happened, but it's something they can do.

If there's court opinions where the courts say "yes this shit is fucked, but we can't do anything about it" it serves as validation that congress should set aside the electoral votes from those questionable states and will be brought up during the session.

Super low chance of working though. Better chance of the S.C. throwing out hundreds of thousands of ballots than that.
