You really shouldn't have two seperate nations with incompatible cultural values fighting over control of the state though. Democracy needs a level of baseline agreement on the core identity of the people the elected are supposed to serve and it's just not there. Who are the American people other than just whoever happens to be on the land that makes up America at any given time? One side desperately wants to maintain its identity, the other says maintaining that identity is racist and exclusionary. Something's got to give at some point because losing control of government at this point means a lot of people feel like their entire way of life is threatened.

The Dem (and independent/3rd party) observers were held to literally the same guidelines and additional reminder that Trumps lawyers have deadass tried to argue that their poll watchers should get to stand closer than the other watchers because, uh, reasons I guess and are now arguing that their watchers should be the ones that get to actually count the votes lmao

It's because boomers still think of him as the guy that took down the mob and cleaned up New York, like it's still the 80s and 90s.

As much of a stroke patient as he is though it's hilarious that so many of the folks lambasting him for his stupidity and obvious cognitive decline will jump right into line to defend Biden, who has clearly been suffering serious cognitive issues for at least a few years now. I think he has been "senile" for over a decade but losing Beau in 2015 seems to have really triggered something - depression has been linked in multiple studies to dementia and other forms of cognitive decline in older people. It's not out of the realm of possibility that his age coupled with depression over losing one of his sons (and I imagine Beau is who he considered "the good one") has resulted in Biden actually declining to the point where saying he has dementia isn't a snarky meme, it's legitimately true.

But yeah, fuck Rudy lol for a guy who talks about what a successful business leader he is, Trump sure has a habit of hiring the shittiest people for the most important things.

Clearly a false flag op orchestrated by Hollywood Hogan. If there's anything I've learned reading the 3000+ pages of election threads on this site, it's that people are NOT mad.

I am mad, I'm mad that the election is clearly over so I can't see more "VOTE NOW" ads 7 bazillion times. Those are my favorite ads.

Ah if this is true they are making it official. Putin was already giving citizenship to French tax-dodgers and Americans who published secrets.

So more or less in the same week Trump's Justice department:

- ends the parole of a convicted Israeli spy for Israel against the US so he can go back to Israel

- allows a very rich Mexican general caught by the DEA to fly back to Mexico merry and free and drops the case because of "the broader interest" of foreign policy.

Then, no wonder if people don't vote for El Trumpito. Building a wall? No, actually signalling to drug traffickers that if they are big enough nothing happens.

"Russian conspiracy" or not, competing world powers must be high-five'ing each other right now.
