I was looking around for Null's PGP key. The only place I've seen it is on that repository. Archives don't go back to when it was commited though.

Git has been down since the keffals drama and subsequent network disruptions. Rumor has it the affected services including git will be returning in the foreseeable future aka soon™.

KF Federated Services (including git, ReeEra, etc) has been offline ever since Null went full KiwiFlare mode. KiwiFlare is not designed to work with non-HTTP protocols, it's a specific thing. No doubt it'd fuck up federation (Matrix, Pleroma) and not support SSH (for git). The Situation has to change before they can feasibly come back, or at least without them becoming a vector for DDoS attacks.

I could see bad actors pushing malware source code to the git repository, and then claiming that the Kiwi Farms supports cyber crimes. The FBI cyber security laws and their penalties are no joke.

He mentioned over email that nothing works because they physically unplugged the servers in the datacenter, hope that gets resolved soon.
As for KiwiFlare not working with anything other than HTTP, aren't there any other open source DDoS prevention software that does? Maybe Null could look into that?
Cloudflare obviously has prevention for this type of stuff but it's closed source. Definitely possible to do it though.

The git has already come under severe attacks that resulted in the service becoming invite-only, with no requirement other than you need to ask me. That said the git is down (for now), along with the rest of the services under the "KF Federated Services" umbrella.

With the amount of times this got taken down and the amount of time it stayed down. I'd take my chances elsewhere. There are some git repos that respect freespeech and with a good uptime.

Chuds have such a terrible track record with canaries. The cock.li guy is like "IF I DONT UPDATE THIS CANARY WITHIN 24 HOURS IT MEANS IM FUCKING DEAD FOR REAL GUYS" and then forgets to update it every fucking time.
