I'm not saying this is the primary reason, but white women are discouraged from seeking partnerships with black men. Fathers tell their daughters not to date them, that having mixed kids is undesirable, won't support the union etc. It would put stress on any partnership.

I've been there once, it was enough. Honestly, you don't even need to read anything to know this. If you ever talk to them, or live around them, or work around them, most will let you know.

I've had an old geezer black man who lives in my complex tell me he was "working on" trying to get the White Woman manager we used to have (easily three decades younger than him) to fuck him. I made the mistake of being a kind Woman with terminal ladybrain and deciding to give a younger black guy neighbor a ride home one night. Never again. This guy has a kid with her, by the way, I've seen them together. He also confessed to firing his gun in city limits at least once, totally a legal piece, I'm sure. I dropped him off, swore never again, and avoid him as much as humanly possible. Comically, he comes into my work extremely polite, a good little church boy, especially with his mom or grandma. A co-worker dates a black guy who isn't gross at least, but is a deadbeat. She's his mule, works constantly.

At least my manager seems to have a healthy relationship with her black husband. They have three kids, who seem to be doing okay for themselves.
