Women always played video games, although I think it's inarguable that a higher percentage of gamers are female now vs 20 years ago.

My little sister used to play my copy of Age of Empires 2 for hours. She would go to the scenario editor and make comfy little game maps, where she would create all these little stories for the units and buildings. I would say not only is that playing a video game, it is creatively manipulating it beyond just playing by the win/lose rules. But, because scrote losers are so threatened by their lack of life success, they choose to try and bully women for accessing video games, in hopes that fellow losers will join in and they can "earn a win" over the yucky girls.

I feel there's likely an overlap between lj and kf sisters. Lots of drama communities, archiving, and doxing. There was a certain type of man who liked to hang around there though. As someone who's been a forum fag since before many of y'all were even born - forum drama is eternal and unchanging. The slapfights over negative ratings, flame wars, and reports to jannies over personal grudges go all the way back to the 20th century.

I recall playing Age of Empires Gold as a kid and making my own scenario filled with trees, from one side to the other, just trees, and making my base in one corner and the enemy base in the other corner, so we'd have to cut trees to get to each other. I don't think I had the patience to ever finish one of those maps but I kept making them for some reason.

On topic: There's so few female spaces online that genuinely are female-only, I've found the only real places are ones that are incredibly anti-male and work to keep out freaks. Some places that you'd expect to be women-only end up having handmaidens desperate to let in a Chosen Moid (sometimes several) for them to uplift and fawn over, validating their feeeeelings about the mean stereotypes and expectations that poor moids have to deal with

There's a section of radfem-adjacent women on tumblr who have some pretty based takes and generally are quite informative and helpful, but it sometimes leaks out weird infighting over what constitutes a TRUE radfem.

Some of the criteria that will make you excluded:
Living with a male
Being in a relationship with a male
Being heterosexual
Being bisexual
Having a child/children

That, alongside accusations that moid-destroyer has actually never destroyed a moid, and scum-rad-misandrist's dad is a man, really doesn't come across as welcoming to women who haven't yet begun to understand the extent of their female socialisation nor how rigged it all is. Sometimes I wish I was still ignorant...

It's been said before but this thread is one of the best parts in this whole site and the internet. Like @Fish Maggot mentioned, female only digital spaces are scarce and even those available are honestly pretty shitty; I too was a also frequent radfem tumblr lurker until it got pretty retarded IMO. Yeah, the same kind of purity spiraling that happens in libfem/TRA spaces happens a lot in TERF spaces too, unfortunately. Having or questioning different political beliefs can get you ostracized. I’m exploring Christianity right now and I don’t feel 100% comfortable broaching the topic in the radfem spaces I’m in online. The nice thing about here is that you have women from all backgrounds, for better or for worse, coming together under a shared commonality, despite differences.

I myself am not willing to spend money on AAA releases anymore because I know they're all basically guaranteed to be terrible. The concept of "AAA" has become synonymous to me with "overproduced and undercooked."

I don't avoid AAA games entirely, but it's got to be something I'm really excited for. Indie games tend to be more fun/experimental and of course much cheaper.

I think my first video game was around when I was 5 or 6 and I would play Zoo Tycoon while sitting on my father's lap. He would handle the financial decisions and I would choose/name the animals and make their habitat.

So I'm 28f and my fiance is 32m. We have be together for 4 years. So for some context he has one child who he had at 16, she lives my my fiance. After he had her, at 20 he got a vasectomy as he didn't want anymore kids. I never really wanted kids, my mindset was if I have one I have one if I don't I don't.
So I got pregnant, I told him and he was pissed as he said I cheated on him. He threw me out that same day. I was so sad, and lonely I was able to stay with my mother as she believed me, I lost a lot of my friends and got a bad reputation at work to now I work from home. My mom was able to talk him into doing a DNA test at 18 weeks, he was the father. He was begging me to take him back, and go live with him again and let him make it up to me.
He has been doing very well of doing that he set up a whole nursery, and goes to every doctor appointment, every thing. I really want to forgive him I really really do as he seems like he will make a good father, and his daughter is so excited for her little sister, and she just wants to plan. All I do is just remember how when I had my morning sickness my mother took care of me not him, how when I needed to go to the hospital my mother took me, not him and he didn't even come to see me. I don't know I've been breaking down so much because of this. I just don't know if I should forgive him and try to put it past us. My best friend said I should just let the past be the past and focus on the baby. While my mother thinks we should just break up, if I can't forgive him. So aitah for not forgiving him?

Men's obsession with getting cucked is a real mental illness. Most of the MRA types argue for mandatory paternity tests upon birth because they literally don't trust their wife at all. I think it's projection because they are probably cheating on her for real or they think "well if I was a woman I would definitely cheat because it would be so easy!" I think it's also porn sickness to some degree.

As a former radblr lurker, tbh I would like nothing more than to betray my sisters and have a radblr thread here. I don't think being a radical feminist automatically makes you a cow, and men would probably infest the thread constantly saying it does, but there are some actual mentally ill power-tripping cows who are squatting in the radblr web and I would love to point and laugh at them with KFers.

I will say that most of the lesbian vs het vs bi vs bihet drama usually got started by the het radfems who were feeling extra insecure that day, though, with some notable exceptions who orbited radblr just to troll.

I’m conflicted on IVF. There are many different types and I’m fine with stuff like selecting an embryo of one sex to avoid a lethal sex linked recessive allele, using your own gametes.
I’m less keen on purchased gametes. Again it creates a market for something that there shouldn’t be one for. I do t think it’s as exploitative as surrogacy, but it does feed into the surrogacy industry. Kids born via IVF also have a doubled rate of birth defects, tend to be born earlier and there’s a philosophical debate about breeding in the face of selection pressure.
Having said that, I do understand the drive to reproduce, and is a sperm donor worse than getting knocked up by a random? I don’t know.
Another thing about ivf is that’s it can be very unethical - lupron (yes the tranny puberty blocker drug) for example was pushed on women across the world as a ‘needed’ part of IVF when it isn’t and when it’s known to cause birth defects and miscarriages.
