I’m honestly not sure. Carian culture seems to be matriarchal and passes power from mother to daughter, and Ranni is questing for one of the good endings of the game, so maybe? But I also find Ranni to be morally ambiguous, willing to throw her relatives under the bus to achieve her plans, and the Lands Between don’t seem to have an obvious hierarchy of men over women. So I couldn’t really say.

Agree. We get lots of justifications for it over here - that they're split between two cultures and can end up over-identifying with one or the other, usually the other one.
