I am also lucky enough to have been blessed with a great Dad. This is maybe why I don't *hate* men; there are many, many men who are wonderful human beings but unfortunately there are also far too many of them who are absolute gutter scum. Like your dad, he sat my down in my teens and made me promise that if a moid ever touched so much as a hair on my head I was to leave and go home immediately/ contact him to get me out of there, no matter the circumstances.

So, to any Kiwisisters out there who need to hear it, I will impart Big John's words of wisdom; male attention is plentiful and low value. You are not obligated to take any moid shit. For men, it is the belief that men must shy away from all feminine behaviors such as showing emotions such as crying (even when happy), open love and affection, and anything deemed vulnerable. In order to be properly male, the theory goes, a man must abject anything feminine and internalize his feelings, which causes explosions of anger and resentment.

This topic in particular is so frustrating to discuss, because they will constantly lament about how they're unhappy in this system, but when women and everybody else start discussing how this system is broken, seek solutions or propose the idea of replacing this system that makes everybody unhappy, moids then will get upset and openly insist the system is working just as intended, which at that point it feels like they just want to suffer on purpose so they can use it for the oppression Olympics and are upset that the solution isn't everybody else, especially women, sacrificing their happiness and things they worked on to revert back to the time where women were expected to drop everything they love to do to orbit and uplift men.
