Witcher 2 had a moment where I legit had to turn off the game. Geralt is a whore. This is his character. I can appreciate a character as a character. But there's a part where you save a bunch of elves/whores from a burning building and then if you talk to one, she asks you something regarding the state of women being equal (because she was basically forced to be a whore iirc) and ALL of your responses Geralt could give were very negative on this idea and very shittily so.

I felt this was unnecessary and shitty to put in and I just remember thinking "Why? What could this possibly add to the game? Why even put this in?"

I was honestly shocked that you can't disable the sex scenes in the settings or at least skip them. I tried to avoid them as much as the game allowed cause I have no interest in seeing it. Having read The Kite Runner (on my own, we had the Handmaid's Tale in school), that book is as RACISM put it: it's about a boy's friend who got raped by a half-Afghan, half -German Nazi who later becomes the leader of the Taliban. Said man later killed the boy as an adult, and then took his kid as a bacha bazi sex slave. A Thousand Splendid Suns is the one involving women, and that one has the husband shove stones into a woman's mouth for not cooking his dinner the right way.

I also read 'A House Without Windows', and that was about a woman who took the fall for killing a man who was raping his own daughter, and in that country, women and girls can't be raped according to them. Unfortunately for the author, she's suffered from TDS and didn't understand why her culture was getting so much shit. So anime is very interesting as a topic because the genre dictates whats going on as well as the location of the watcher. What girls like in Japan men might like in the west. What is a redflag in Japan for one trait is another for westoids. For some reason, messages Japanese people try to convey don't always translate well into Westoid minds.

I will say the manga readers tend to be safer than the anime watchers. For some reason being able to read weeds out coomers and retards.

Evangelion has some artistic value, especially for the time it was made in. Can't just write it off as Rei bait

Beserk also is a rare case of someone in Japan becoming captivated by the West especially the medieval fantasy stories, that on top of it's incredibly graphic nature (Main character Guts gets raped within the first few chapters) Kind of a coin flip on this one but it's mainly only manga so that weeds out alot of retards - Use your own discretion. Why do men refuse to book their own medical appts unless pushed or do literally anything proactive about things that bother them? I am talking specifically about men of the very online variety which feels like most in my age group and younger.
