Yes. Ngl I’m so iffy on feminism because on the one hand, it’s the biggest pro women movements ever and is the reason women have any rights, on the other hand I genuinely believe libfems have done much harm to society and especially to women it’s hard for me to identicy with the label. I just don’t relate to any form of feminism not even radical feminism. It’s just not extreme enough for me.

Reasons why I’m not a feminist:

• “Believe all women” is dumb because women are just as capable of lying as men are. Actually wait for more evidence instead of making assumptions on either end
• The #MeToo movement largely did more damage to women’s credibility, which makes me sad because genuine victims aren’t believed as easily now
• Roe v Wade was poorly written, and even so, if abortion is that important, I think individual states should have made more laws allowing for it instead of relying on the Supreme Court decisions that can get reversed. I’m personally a fan of the European model of up to 12 weeks maximum barring instances of rape/incest, or the baby having a severe developmental disorder that wouldn’t allow them to live past birth
• Intersectional feminism is cringe and contradictory. It has a point in the sense that you can have compounding struggles based on different identities, but it inevitably turns into people trying to attach as many identities as possible to themselves for social clout
• Rad fems are also cringe, and while I can agree on troons, that isn’t enough for me to actually support them. They tend to talk about men in ways with such vitriol that all it does is cause more rifts between people
• Actual women’s issues like period stigma aren’t brought up as much, and women will end up missing days of school for it due to stigma. It then creates an education gap. You don’t need to remove the stigma by making period paintings or whatever, that’s gross, but maybe try and sew reusable period products/donate menstrual cups to countries where women lack opportunities
• The fact I get held to feminist standards by some people anyway while reiterating that I’m not a feminist annoys me greatly
• I don’t like it when men adopt feminism and call themselves “male feminists,” as they are often predatory. It’s also weird for a guy to have extreme deference towards me purely for being a woman

These are probably the biggest issues for me, but I can likely think of more.

It’s not even about bein a male feminist for me, I just want a man that’s not a misogynist and genuinely likes women. I want a man that empathizes and relates to women and sees them as full humans capable of independence and individuality and not just objects meant to be cook and clean for them for the rest of their life. A man who doesn’t like seeing misogynistic things not because he’s a beta soy boy bitch but just because he has a girlfriend and a mother and sisters that he loves and he doesn’t agree with it because he loves the women in his life and wants to see what’s best for them. its funny because misogynists see man haters and the first thing they always say is “oh you must have daddy issues” but for me, that is so beyond untrue. My dad is awesome. He is so kimd and respectful of women and he always supported me and never made me feel like I was incapable of anything because I’m a woman. He loved me through my tomboy phase and my girly girl phase and never made me feel like I was cooler than other girls for liking boy things or better than other girls for beimg more feminine. He loves women and growing up in that environment made me think that all men were like that and seeing what they really were was so jarring. I just want a man that actually enjoys women, not just obsessed with fucking them while hating their company. Is that too hard to ask?

Male feminists definitely don't view women as angels that can do no wrong, as they will attack you over not being feminists enough, not being a super based successful career stacy or not supporting hecking valid transwomen. On top of that is the blasé attitude around rape. We are told to 'get over it' and be grateful (?!) that we lived to...have a baby. There are many women who would choose death over rape. If you asked a woman whether she'd be mauled by a bear vs being raped, she'd take the bear because the bear isn't doing it for sex/power. These two posts really get at one of the big reasons for my hatred of men. While I agree with @Friend of Dorothy Parker that it's a bit absurd to assert that the majority of women would choose a bear-mauling over being raped, the fact that men can be compared to wild animals is deplorable. Across all cultures and races, men are always disproportionately the perpetrators of crimes, especially violent ones. I'm not particularly scared of men, but I'm also not fucking stupid and take proper precautions (staying in good health, exercising my 2A rights, etc.) when going out just like I do when I go camping in bear country. It is interesting how constantly on twitter and such when heinous things are reported men flock to post pictures of wood-chippers, bullets, etc. and posture about how "If that was (female from my family), they'd already be dead!" but in reality such things almost never happen. To be fair, in prison molesters do tend to get their come-uppance (when not in protective custody) but from what I understand, rapists and woman-killers are sometimes harassed but not much else.
