I fundamentally disagree with this. Men have not been fine for thousands of years. Men have been significantly, substantially worse than they are now by practically every metric, and dehumanised women to a far, far greater extent. I have serious, unresolved doubts about the extent to which mainstream acceptance of porn dehumanises and commodifies women because those arguments all discount the vast, vast majority of our history in which largely pornless societies quite literally treated women as second-class citizens at best, and subhuman chattel property at worst. I think blaming the mainstream proliferation of porn for modern man's failings and deviancy 'feels right' in my gut, and it would be easy to just say I agree with it, but the more I think about it, the less I'm convinced.
Also, I don't consume porn. I think it's cringe.
