Men seem to be way more likely to get snappy or aggressive with people over the phone or email. For all the memes about Karens, I see bitchy men being rude to customer-facing employees way more.

Puberty blockers are also primarily used to treat Precocious Puberty, which effects mostly girls. I think that's something that's not brought up much with the controversy over them.

Going thru puberty before being old enough to start kindergarten is also something that can potentially have lifelong effects. Especially since early puberty is correlated with an increased risk of CSA, and Precocious Puberty combined with child rape is how we got Lina Mendina.

I'm not a doctor but "puberty blockers" is a blanket term for treatments that suppress certain hormones, and these treatments have a variety of medical uses. Not uncommon for them to be used for prostate cancer, for example. Let's be real, we know this is not what people are referring to when they say puberty blockers shouldn't be used for children.

Back on topic though, I have a question for kiwisisters, what was the worst man you’ve ever met like in comparison to the worst woman you’ve ever met? I am interested to know if other women’s stories bear the same difference in degree of awfulness.

I’m the type that doesn’t like talking to people so most of my experience comes from when I briefly worked retail. By far the worst female customer I had was one who wouldn’t move her stuff closer to me after politely asked her to since we had no moving belts. She yelled at me and berated me and I started crying (I was a lot weaker then). It was near the end of my shift so I clocked out.

The worst male customer I had was the guy who saw me leave the building after this incident with tears in my eyes and proceeded to follow me to my car before aggressively tapping on my windows because the doors were locked.

I look back on the incident with the lady and go “wow what an asshole, I really should have told her off” I look back at the incident with the man and feel genuinely sick to my stomach.

For me, the ROGD and assorted gender shit that has become prevalent in recent years kinda mirrors the eating disorder/self-harm "trend" from when I was in my teens (I'm 1-2 generations older than most people who post here). Like an updated version of the same maladaptive strategies for girls to cope with abuse, trauma, or just relentless unwanted predatory attention from boys and men. A lot of girls turn that shit inward and end up ruining themselves. A significant percentage of young TIF's definitely fall under the "self harm as unhealthy coping" umbrella IMO. Of course, social media has a lot to do with the contagious aspect of it too. That wasn't a thing when I was coming up.

I 100% agree with you on this. I was struggling with undiagnosed disorders at the time along with some of the worst depression in my life. It sure was easier to justify wearing hoodies all the time because I was totally a real dude and not because of the embarrassing self harm scars on my arms. I needed to wear baggy clothing because that’s what men wear! Let’s ignore the fact I hated my figure and wanted to attract the least amount of attention possible. Binding? No that’s not just another form of self harm inflicted upon myself, that’s because that’s just what ftms wear, even if I bought purposely ill fitting ones and I didn’t need them because of the baggy hoodies.

Pretty much every action I took towards transition was born out of a desire to hurt myself or a hatred of my body. I imagine it’s very similar for a lot of them.

What this comes down to is a complete and utter lack of research into women's health, I think. We are stuck with outdated solutions with horrible side effects all the time because nobody cares to develop better treatments. Until relatively recently, lobotomies were standard mental health practice for women.

I think it's a mistake to think that we've come very far from the days of "wandering womb syndrome". We're in almost exactly the same place, just under a different name.

a lot of them actually call back to complain! we do marketing for people that already have master cards one guy wouldn't answer any questions so I asked if he even had a master card and told him he wouldn't get a call back if that was the case and he wouldn't even just say no. so I just said "we'll call you back next week"

Here's why these situations are not the same: If a woman has an abortion there is no baby. You cannot pay child support for something that doesn't exist.
If a woman gives birth and the man walks out on her, the baby is still there. So unless you want the state to pay for it you make the guy who fathered the child pay for it, which I think is fair. "But she lied about being on birth control!" Use a condom then. Better yet take the advice you like to give women and keep your dick in your pants.
"But I'm not the father!" Then go find the deadbeat and make him take responsibility. The court does not care which guy pays as long someone pays.

Nothing. I was talking about my years in college when I was still learning about gender relations. I made one of the classic moid blunders and my current opinion on the viability of that suggestion is more in-line with the overall opinion of this thread.
