This is a good way of putting it. Personally the way I would phrase it is--"women are better at writing men than men are at writing women".here's my take: women authors aren't better at writing men, they are good at writing better men.
Female interpretations of male characters are not always realistic to the way men are in real life; sometimes they create characters intended to be scrotes, but they draw a sharp line and also create characters meant to be "nice guys", not realizing that many moids who are outwardly nice or nice around other moids are still, at their core, moids. But even if these portrayals are still unrealistic, women still write men as full-bodied human beings with personalities and inner lives.
When a man writes a woman, on the other hand, it's only a matter of time before you get "Her breasts bounced as she hopped down the stairs" or "She folded her arms over her breasts" lmao. For this reason, I will never humor any male author unless it's nonfiction.
