It really seems like all men are autistic in some way, just the complete lack of empathy or compassion they all display is so grating to deal with. Like if you ever tried to just vent to a man or get emotional support for an issue from your partner you probably have run into this behavior they all display where they just give you a "solution" to the problem you describe and if you don't say "wow thank you smart wise man, your logical solution just fixed all of my issues, my dumb dumb woman-brain could have never come up with this myself" they get mad. If you vent your problems to a woman she will offer compassion first and foremost and understand that in most situations people who vent their issues aren't looking for you to provide solutions, but just want to hear something like "I'm so sorry you're going through that, is there any way I can help?". Men will never understand this, you can try to explain it to them millions of times but they will still go "Well you should just do X and if you don't then you're retarded." Autistic robots the lot of them.

But doesn't this go both ways? I admit i've done this a Ton, but in my eyes it has always been because the Partner i was with, for some reason, just wouldn't DO ANYTHING to solve her problems so of course i try to help by offering solutions. From my perspective, a practical solution was actually the bigger help than emotional support, because that would usually mean that the problem won't get solved at all.

Not really. McDonald’s prices these days are not as cheap as they used to be. It’s a lot cheaper to just make bulk size chili in a crockpot using meat, a few canned ingredients, and some spices. You get so many more meals that way and it generally saves better. Fast food is nice for if you want something convenient and don’t want to do dishes, but you generally get less food for more money that way. If moids want to save money and eat better, they should get a crockpot, learn to dump things in it, and turn on the heat. It’s not as simple as instant ramen, but it’s less complex than doing something like steak and risotto.

• Splash of dry sherry or mirin

• Just straight up MSG

Sometimes people don't want to hear solutions, at least not immediately. Sometimes they just want to be heard and comforted, they want to know it's okay to be upset or to feel how they feel. It's sorta just a sanity check. I know you might think offering solutions is helpful but in the moment it can be seen as demeaning or condescending. If you want to offer solutions you can circle back to that later, by asking "would you like to hear some solutions" or "I have some ideas about [problem]".
