To me that procedure makes sense if you got in a horrible car accident and broke both your legs in complex fractures. It sounds totally unreasonable and a waste of medical resources to do this just for vanity.

The only surgery with more complications than limb lengthening surgery is getting a rot dog installed.

In the US it historically has only been done on patients with severe limb discrepancies or dwarfs with bowlegs that restrict movement.

If women insist on trooning out, they need to accept that they’ll always look like a manlet next to men. It’s also cringe when the FTM types will try to look super macho when they have toothpick arms. Just accept that you’ll always look a bit feminine and go for the soyboy aesthetic instead. I feel bad for the FTM that troon out because of abuse, but in general, women should be discouraged from doing it. You don’t have to be ultra girly to be a woman.

At its core the troon notion of gender on a spectrum boils down to the logic of a schoolyard bully. It’s butch erasure, insisting that women who don’t want to buy into traditional and typical femininity are actually men, somehow. It suggests that say, I would cease to be a woman if I cut my hair short and starting dressing in lumberjack flannels, or that enjoying something “manly” makes one less of a woman. That’s not how gender or sex works, and it’s batshit of the FtMs to try and square their ostensible masculinity with pregnancy and childbearing. This is a contradiction in terms.

Mostly I just feel bad for pooners tho. I would not want to navigate the steps of a cock-o-plasta, and I don’t see the advantage in pretending to be something you’re not.
