Official Kiwi Farms Man-Hate Thread

So anyways Ms Marvel flopped so cue millions of men screaming go woke go broke and crying over female superheroes and seething over “Mary sues” for about a month straight now.
Someone was crazy enough to put a musical number in the film. I would have loved to see the reaction of everyone when that was put on the table.

I didn’t watch it yet but damn I really do hate random musical numbers in movies lol but I’m gonna watch it in theaters because I’m also an BrieLarsonSupporter

I'm surprised you didn't change your username to that. I do agree on hating random musical numbers. I was never going to watch it though, capeshit isn't my cup of tea.

Yeah the thread in A&H about it is largely them seething and insisting it failed because it focuses on female characters, when in reality it's just that even normies are getting burnt out on MCU.
Why can't a movie with women leads just be shitty without this "go woke go broke" crap added into it why can't it just be a bad movie
This, especially since there are tons of bad movies with male leads and Mary Sue's and whatnot.

Not calling it bad per se, but James Bond is basically Twilight for middle-aged men (i.e. shallow Mary-Sue wish fulfillment). Dudes absolutely loose their shit when you point this out.

I heard a lot of them don't even wash their butts. Like... Ever. They just walk around with poopy butt all day and they also don't wipe their penis after they pee and just let pee drip into their pants. No wonder they stink to high heaven.
Wiping penis after peeing is not a thing.
It's not a series of folds in front of a psychotic pisshole.
The penis is the rational pisser; greater than all others.

It's really easy:
* stand in front of sink
* piss comes out of penis
* piss stops
* get piss off of hands using girlfriend's shirt

I've really enjoyed the Craig series of Bond (though I like James Bond as a franchise) because of how much it deconstructs the womanizing superspy, turning him from a macho sex symbol to an open scumbag who ruins not only his life but the lives of everyone he is involved with. His narrative end and fulfilment of his journey is realizing that providing for a family and being a father was his chance to escape, but he blew it by refusing to change, and only when he changes does he realize it's too late for himself, but he can still provide a better life for his family

The Marvels has cats and references to fanfiction. It’s a girl movie. It doesn’t matter what moids think of it. I actually really enjoyed it because it was a movie about three women who are learning to get along with each other and work together. They have mutual admiration and respect for each other. There’s no romantic subtext, no males to impress, no jealousy, nothing that men supposedly hate about women, but they hate the movie anyway because it’s not about men.

The movie does have a musical number, but it’s designed to be ironic and more than a little embarrassing. I don’t think it’s any more weird than anything from Love and Thunder or Quantumania.

I liked it better than Love and Thunder or Quantumania. LoT was a tonally incoherent mess that wasted Natalie Portman's return to the series and Quantumania didn't have the balls to kill anyone off. I really appreciated some of the story beats in this one, like showing the three of them practicing how to deal with the power switch thing instead of just magically figuring it out right when they needed it most. It wasn't perfect, but I think it's better than it's been getting credit for.

The newer Marvel characters just suck, yes you could call them pandering towards women/minorities/whatever but the simple fact is that capeshit just sucks now. Not that it was ever high art to begin with. They're having to dip into the less mainstream characters which of course is going to affect audience turnout; just compare the fame of Captain American or Iron Man to Photon. The costumes/CGI have all gone downhill as well.

Different Bond films vary wildly in tone but I enjoy the schlockier ones more. In the more serious Bond films he comes across as more predatory to me, idk it's just off-putting. I think in Quantum of Solance he bangs some escort shortly after rescuing her from her "boss" but don't quote me on that.

It's a long video but I'm curious for the ladies' take on this. He doesn't focus exclusively on female loneliness, kinda expands into the struggles that attractive people in general can face, but he recognizes this is something women face more than men. TBH I'm only about 15 mins in but finding it interesting so far.

I read somewhere that "use your black girl magic" is actual dialogue in the film. Is this the case?

I mean isn't being a sleezy gross predatory misogynist always a thing with Bond? It's just that he's a wish fulfillment Gary-Stu from the 50s so it wasn't treated as a bad thing in the older Bond movies (similar to Edward Cullen being an abusive stalker or Bella Swan being a judgemental asshole not being treated as actual character fault or something they ever face consequences for).

That's not to say it's wrong to enjoy those movie, after all Mary-Sues and schlocky wish fulfillment persist for a reason, it's just that Bond is just as much of a Sue as the Twilight characters but dudes will have a testicular meltdown if you point that out. Extra fun when these are the same dudes who treat Rey as the spawn of Satan (even though she's no more of a Sue than the other SW movie protags, and honestly less of a Sue than PM Anakin).

That comment section is so utterly black - pilling, I'm stunned.
Never have I seen so many men, outside of a family meeting, listening/reading to argue instead of understand.

Men will truly never try to give a single shit abouts a women's perspectives or even try to empathize.

A truly stunning display of manhood

[In addition, who let western men believe that western women view them as a meal ticket when there are more than double the amount of dual - income married couples when compared to single income couples? I wish western women were the boogeymen that they are made out to be, maybe they could've/would've inspired other women to be the same. I imagine it was the same person who lied and said that men actually get shafted by alimony ]

idk if youtube pushes different comments to the top for different viewers or whatever but the top comments I see are women sharing their own experiences with loneliness or guys being like "huh didn't think of that"

I've been lonely most of my life despite being a woman who's not fat and isn't facially disfigured so when I hear men say women don't face loneliness or always have friends it's infuriating.
