They don't see it as hypocrisy. Their belief system is, by default, they are enacting God's will and thus correct - and anything which is against God's will is incorrect and a sin against God, thus worthy of punishment.

It gets more interesting when you view it through that lens - it shows their general behaviour. They CAN see it, they just don't care and will lie about it, "justly", while decrying Jews as liars.

Since this is the feminist thread, you can compare it with incels or Andrew Tate closeted-homosexual types. When they want to fuck sluts, it's fine - it's the women they want to fuck who are wrong. You have to start from the point that the man is automatically right, and likewise, with Muslims, you have to assume the Muslim perspective is infallible and justify everything the others do from the perspective that they are, automatically, wrong.

This is why they don't seem to have any self awareness - they start with the assumption that Muslim = Perfect, Infidel = Wrong - they will justify atrocities because their mind is built around the assumption that the Muslim is perfect, and thus, their actions are justified (and then look for reasons to justify it) while Infidel = Wrong, and thus, look for reasons to decry everything that Israel or Britain or India or whoever the fuck does.

That's interesting because I've gotten men asspained at me any time I mention the fact that Bond is a Sue and the franchise is basically Twilight for dudes. It doesn't mean it's bad to like it or any other schlocky Sue wish fulfillment (including Twilight), but I feel like overall men get a lot more defensive over admitting male characters are Sues. Meanwhile they're quick to label female characters they personally dislike as Sues regardless of whether they actually are (like Rey).

It's ironic since outside of fanfiction, there are probably more male Sues than female ones given that fiction overall has kind of traditionally been a sausage fest. The Benchdal Test exists for a reason (not that something is automatically bad for not passing it, shit some of my favorite works of fiction don't pass).

IMO the worst male Sues are the loser social rejects that get reincarnated as a nearly invincible demigod in another world, which is really popular in anime these days.

Had to unexpectedly put our family cat down a few days ago. She wasn't young, but she wasn't old. She fell ill fast and despite the help of vets/specialists/an ER visit, her condition deteriorated incredibly quickly (as it often does with cats). She was refusing to eat, vomiting and pooing neon green fluid, losing weight, getting weak. Three days after taking her to the vet, I scheduled her euthanasia at-home and my immediate family all made plans to be there except for my father. He expressed sympathy for our grief but clearly could not give less of a shit about this animal that had lived under his roof for over a decade and went on Saturday plans with his friends while the rest of us were with our family pet in her final moments. Both of my (very different) brothers were there and had no problem crying as much as us womenfolk so I think this callousness towards animals/pets is more of a boomer man thing.

OT but I picked up my cat's ashes from the vet yesterday and the vet tech handed the bag to me and said "have a nice day." Her colleagues looked like they'd seen a ghost.

I'll be the first one to say watching women's sports is gay because watching people who can't compete at the top (male) level is basically like going to somebody else's kids little league games, but MMA is different. I made the decision, not consciously at first, but more consciously after I picked up on the change in my own behaviour, about ten years ago to no longer speak to men. (Grown men. Kids are nice. They haven’t learnt how to be toxic yet.)

I would like to recommend trying it. Even give yourself a day or two off from male bullshit a week. It makes all public interaction so much more pleasant.

You can’t avoid speaking to the ones you live with, or emergency situations like calling 911, and personally I’m fine with a handful of close family/friends who are male (I steadfastly avoid and ignore the rest), and male doctors and nurses. But that’s it. I don’t speak to men. I don’t work for a living, but I do endless volunteer work/community shit, so I’m not a shut-in. It is way easier just to fucking avoid interacting with men than you think.

I don’t answer the door to men. I don’t respond at all when they speak to me in public. I choose queues with female shop assistants. If I call up somewhere a man answers (rare), I ask politely to speak to a female colleague. I do not make eye contact or respond to any social overture. I will not be alone with any of them bar a first degree relative for any reason.

It’s so restful. I just cannot be arsed with doing anything to relate to or interact with men any more. All of my social interactions are much more pleasant now. I went through my younger life assuming that men had some right to my attention and interaction, and news: they just don’t. I have reduced Unpleasant Interactions With Men to the unavoidable being-catcalled bullshit and general Facebook “in ur DMs” harassment. You can just close the internet and walk away.

Life is much better for me now that I have accepted men are basically just a hostile constantly respawning mob.
