I have had two male friends proclaim that they hate feminism in the middle of conversations.
For the first friend, he sent me a video (admittedly it's by an actual woman) that talks about women in games getting more ugly due to spite from what he termed "feminist snowflakes." I said that maybe women don't like getting sexualized all the time and that's maybe why not all female game characters are supermodels with D cups the side of the goddamn Hindenburg anymore. His counter was that he thinks "normal girls" aren't bothered by sexualization in media. I noted that I was uncomfortable with how popular it is to blame things on feminists and he got really angry at me.
For the second one, he told me that feminism in the 21st century has become "something else entirely" from what it originally was. When I asked him to elaborate, he stopped replying.
I don't get it. They seem to be mixing up misandry with feminism for reasons I can't understand. Claiming that feminism and misandry are the same thing is like disavowing all of Christianity because sometimes the Vatican rapes kids. Broad generalizations like that are retarded and make no sense.

I so wish this were always true, but from what I've seen + heard from other women, men actually tend to be much worse than women at clocking trannies. It might be because men's sight is so much less detailed than women's in general (e.g. narrower scope of vision, less specific perception of colors). Men are gross and I'm tired of living a life where I have to constantly keep the idea of the danger of men ruining or ending my life in some part of my brain.
I'm tired of being worried of being too nice because they might see interest in me just because I'm treating them as a human being and they assume it's attraction. I'm tired of being worried of being too mean because they might get angry and violent if I deny them. I'm tired of dancing around words and behaviors to try to find a balance that doesn't exist and will never exist because men are prone to being deviants and violent creatures.
I'm tired of women giving advice and tips to escape a bad relationship just in case it turns sour because it can at any moment turn terrible. I'm tired of seeing women be traumatized and hurt by men and then essentially be told by society and therapy to get over it and continue living in society where nothing will change because men will be men.
I'm tired of worrying about my clothes and hair. I'm tired of dancing around the balance of looking good to be seen as something valuable in the workplace but not too much to be seen as something attractive. Because if you're too ugly, you might not be thought of as desirable to be on a team but if you're too put together, they'll think you're just a pretty woman that doesn't know shit and only got by due to their looks. And it doesn't even matter what you dress like in the end because a man will still sexualize and/or rape you.
I'm tired of being unable to trust men. I'm tired of being told by society to try to trust men at least a little only to have that trust be broken again and again. I'm tired of the fact that daughters have to be given "the talk" about how fucking insane men can and will be. And I'm tired of the fact that if you're too uppity, you'll get a target on you so they can shut you up and if you're too submissive, you'll be preyed upon again and again. But when they hear about a man assaulting a woman or a man being violent, or a man being a porn addicted freak, their eyes just glaze over and they say that's just life. I think the “feeling desired” aspect is very true for a lot of women. It doesn’t have to come in the form of “rape fantasy,” but I guess some moids will interpret it that way. For women, especially these days, with porn just being so ubiquitous, many feel like they’re in this invisible competition to compete against these women for their man’s attention. It creates feelings of being undesirable, so a man desiring a woman immensely, a real woman, becomes validating. Thing is, moids don’t understand that it doesn’t have to come in the form of rape.
What can make a woman feel desired are really just small things, such as:
- Taking care of her when she’s sick
- Offering to do extra errands if his woman is too busy to fulfill everything
- Spending money on things like favorite foods or flowers
- Just listening to her when she’s having a rough day, no need to problem solve either
- Giving compliments on how attractive she is in various states, not just when dressed to the nines or in lingerie
In contrast, actual rape, as opposed to “rape fantasy,” is often deeply traumatic. It’s the manner of taking an act meant to be shared together and perverting it into something selfish. The woman ends up feeling used and objectified, which is dehumanizing. Moids are horrified at the thought of themselves being raped by another moid, so I don’t see how they can’t comprehend the terror women feel. Actual rape creates feelings of shame too, and due to the tricky nature of proving rape in court, can go unpunished. I do think it's funny how the success of 50 Shades has been used to claim women want to be treated like shit but if you try to make any generalisations based on the prolific porn consumption of men about men then people suddenly have an issue with that, even though it's been documented that many violent criminals and sex offenders were porn watchers with warped views on women (not to mention the popularity of anal sex, barely legal etc.). I also just think it's way more harmless to have a "rape fantasy" as a woman. This type of moid almost always has a personality disorder of some sort, and he's very good at seeking out women who will be sympathetic to him and put up with his bullshit far longer than they should.
I can't say too much more without power leveling.
Thankfully, like most people with personality disorders, once they start hitting their late 30s/early 40s, other people are significantly less willing to tolerate their nonsense. And that's when their lives usually start to fall apart.
