This is all really helpful, thank you guys. 🩷 She's still only a toddler so hopefully I won't have to worry about it for a while. It's tough because I want to protect her, but as @Stan said I don't want her living in fear either. Emphasis on the low value of male attention and trustworthiness seems like a good start. Overall I really hope she'll tell me when she notices males make her uncomfortable.

I think most people, especially men regarding other men, just don't want to think of their friends and family that way, but yeah it's an unfortunate reality we live in. I've been on the lookout for red flags myself, and I'm willing to put anyone on the blacklist if they give me even the slightest ick. My daughter will be allowed to have a lock on her door as well.

And this might just be my own bias from personal experiences, but when adult men start sniffing around an under-age girl, why is it that very little effort is made to actually scare the dude off? It seems like the responsible adults involved will try to talk the girl out of it (and they should), but when that doesn't work, because teenagers are retarded, they throw up their hands and go "well I guess I can't stop her?!" Idk if it were me, and my daughter came home talking about how some grown man asked her out or whatever, my first instinct might be to threaten the guy with violence if he ever so much as looked at her again.

The latter response is so fucking funny because sure, maybe she is leaving info out. Maybe in reality she is absolutely horrible and disrespectful to him all day, all the time; maybe she is actually an utter saint and is painting herself in a worse light than reality here and downplaying everything good she does—it’s words from a stranger on the internet, anything could be the truth. So all we can do is infer and judge from what was written. She didn’t write much, because she didn’t have to. But clearly, logic dictates there is some missing, overarching male rationale that makes her insane and the man correct in this situation.

I’ve noticed that when males tell stories like this on Reddit, there’s often a lot of gaps in the (long and meandering) narrative. You read and are instinctively asking questions or noticing oddities—“he mentioned that she was already mad, but why?” “he said she’d already agreed to it, so why did it seem completely new?” ie even when they are crafting the narrative with their own hand (singular, always), they are too fucking stupid to notice the obvious holes in their own words, or they try to avoid them with very obvious swerves and whiny, sympathy-begs at deflection. (But of course, it’s women who are the manipulative, emotional sex.)

The narrative here isn’t confusing or overly emotional or obviously excluding crucial context. She has a reasonable request, expressed it multiple times with reasoning that should matter to the Father Of One’s Children, and he just keeps doing it anyway and saying “it’s a joke”—great, the Mother Of Your Children doesn’t find it funny, get better jokes and try actually impressing your woman. Then when she offers an ultimatum, given that he’s ignored her to this point, he throws a tantrum. Literal monkey behavior.

have never understood this attitude. death is a mercy, an escape. he ceases to feel anything. he ceases to exist. to have any comprehension of what awaits him. why would you wish such an easy out on such a monster? I can absolutely think of far more painful punishments for him to endure for many many many decades. ones that would leave him incapable of speech and movement but in full and total awareness of what he’s experiencing. death is basically letting him off the hook. the cops shooting him on the spot wouldn’t have even allowed for enough time for him to process he was busted. hopefully now he ends up in a prison with extremely violent inmates who know what he did and they can torture him the way the law won’t.

Yeah I get that the ideal punishment would be him being tortured forever. I guess it just sickens me that men like that are allowed to live.

The diginifyAI shit opened a whole can of worms, but two of my favorite things to come out of this discourse
are :

-"Conservative"/"trad" moids projecting and calling everybody else coomers, when people, even the right-leaning circles ask do they have any other porn folders they want to share with the rest of the class, because it's not very "trad" of them to go seek out images of OF women on their own to cover them up, especially if they are married men who have children.
