Many 'no makeup makeup' looks can be quite make up heavy with concealer, foundation, cream and powder products, skin prep, contour... and an actual light make up look can be incredibly noticeable, like, for example, thick black eyeliner and a colored gloss. The ammount of product doesn't correspond to how "makeupy" it looks.

And honestly the make up the average guy hates is the make up that's most fun. Covering blemishes is nowhere as entertaining or creative as putting on glitter eyeshadow.

I used to work in an office with a lot of veterans (most of them special forces) and it was a semi-professional workplace at best. Business wear was expected, but they weren't too worried about behaving professionally. It was an environment where I could do some fun makeup looks and a lot of the crotchety old guys looked forward to what I would come up with. I came in one day in a white cocktail dress and MAC's Lightly Charred with a red smoky eye from ColourPop's All That palette and that was a hit with the some of the crusty old farts. They always liked my thermal polish, too.

As a Bible autist, this guy is confidently incorrect. The Bible is full of misogyny, but the Proverbs 31 woman was the OG 'girl boss'. She worked and raised kids, managed her properties and bought fields, and the only reason her husband had his job as an elder was because of how the locals respected her.

I wouldn't say happily the society pressuring women to get married and making sure other women to not get the idea they can live without a man usually labelled them spinsters. Just look at Edwardian era propaganda about women not marrying how horrible they are ( the single woman rate reached something like 20+ per cent and fertility rate was falling) . Fucking hell both my mother and aunt were pressured into marrying before their 25 th bday because their parents were wailling like they had experienced fate worse than death if they didn't marry and have kids.

In some countries like india, Afghanistan, Pakistan etc if your husband dies you are pretty much fucked . First because he was making the bulk of money , second you had to now work and care for the kids if you have any.

I gotta say do the west is the only place where you are better off being a single mom than married . I wish i was joking look at this research

This is something I wanted to make a post about. When a man declares that he doesn't see himself interested in marriage or he doesn't see himself as father material, he receives praises how he's so honest and it's worth respecting that because he is not wasting women's time and all that jazz. But when a woman declares the same thing, they get instantly bombarded with how they're gonna die alone, how they're being insane/absurd, how they will eventually find someone and last but not least, always have someone go "Are you surreeeeeee you don't want to be a mother? Motherhood changes people, it will change you too! Of course it has its challenges but it will help you grow!". They never do this weird guilt-tripping to guys, they never tell them what they could miss out if they rejected fatherhood. It's really annoying.

Just to be clear, this post isn't against having children but I have more respect for people that declare they don't want to have kids because they don't see themselves as parent material than those who do have them out some social obligation, regret it and then end up resenting them due to missed out opportunities.
