Yes. The current blow up is 100% the IOC's fault and they were warned about this, because they don't test adequately and don't have strict enough safeguards to screen out DSD'd competitors. If they had drawn an actual line in the sand, like normal institutions with backbones do, then the two DSD competitors wouldn't be exposed to the current public spotlight and none of this bad press would be landing on anyone. They could have been quietly DQ'd and go on to box in lower tiers where test isn't checked. Butthurt trannies would bitch about the IOC's rules being exclusionary but that would have been like, two tweets on Twitter and then problem fucking solved. Remember 2016 when every women's 100m runner on the podium was outwardly female but had DSD's with higher test? That should have been a warning that this issue was going to keep coming up AND getting worse.
And this IOC fuck up is 100% going to start affecting actual tall females with stronger jawlines, because now NO audience members or coaches for the other teams can be confident that the other competitors are actually qualified to be there and play fairly.
I'm REALLY curious about what the IBA's 'test' was that those 2 boxers failed, because it if wasn't a blood test, I wonder if they were actually visually assessing for clitoromegaly (to see if they'd had higher T levels in the past). They're not being open about it which makes me sus. T doping is notoriously hard to catch at point-in-time and you can dope for years and still beat a blood test if you stopped for a few months, which basically leaves orgs trying to catch permanent effects like megaclit or beards.

I read in more than one newspaper that the IBA say it was a "DNA test" and "chromosomal test" and that both these individuals have XXY chromosomes.
No one with any form of Y chromosome should be competing in female sports. Yes, maybe this means the intersex can't compete in elite female sports. Usain Bolt isn't allowed to run in the Paralympics, either. Sports and other organisations are entitled to set conditions for a fair level of competition and a level playing field.
If it didn't matter in sports whether or not you were a fucking man, there would be no gender segregation of sports. It does matter. Testosterone is the most performance-enhancing drug we know of. Look at the difference between Caster Semenya's performance unmedicated, and how she performed when required to race under a regime of anti androgens. She is not even mid by elite standards when she has to take the cypro. Her enormous performance advantage is because she is inherently, by her biology, doped in comparison to her rivals. You cannot congruently take the line the IOC does on doping, and simultaneously allow people like Semenya, and like Lin Yu-ting to compete.
Lin Yu-ting is a fucking man. I am sorry about this for her. It must have caused much personal difficulty in her life. But she is biologically a man, and men are not allowed to box women under any accepted boxing code. The IBA were entirely right.

Who knows how reliable the wiki is, but Semenya seems like just a dude born without a penis. Genetic male, XY chromosomes, no uterus or fallopian tubes, and has testicles, granted they are internal. Just the intersex condition causes the penis not to form properly, so you get something that looks like a micropenis or vagina at birth.
I sort of assumed these two boxers are likely something similar since they won't really come out and say exactly what's going on.
