The truth is, women's rights are always positively correlated with how livable a country is, even for moids. Sorry if this is off-topic for MHT but the term "missing white woman syndrome" is disgusting and I side eye the priorities of anyone who uses it.
Of course I agree with the sentiment that missing person cases involving non-white women are just as tragic and deserve coverage but it takes a brain deeply rotten with identity politics to see some news on the TV about a little girl who went missing in your area and your first thought is "Hmm, she's white. That's why they are bringing attention to this. Ugh, white privilege in media!" like what the fuck is wrong with you? How do you look at a story about someone being kidnapped and see privilege?
Are we supposed to not empathize with victims if their families actually tried to find them, unlike parents in shitty cultures that do not value daughters enough to search for them so we don't even hear about it? One need only look at The Charley Project site to find pages upon pages of white women who went missing and nobody has given a damn about them.
America was majority white for decades, of course you can easily find more notable cases about white women.
