The excuses that I’ve seen from some men regarding Grohl’s extramarital behavior are becoming so tiring to me.

“At least he acknowledged the child and says that he wants to be in her life!” (So he says now right after he’s been caught, because the child is literally an infant right now, and men NEVER lie about wanting to be there for a child. Especially not celebrities).

We should not applaud men for doing the bare minimum when it comes to the consequences of having unprotected sex. And it doesn’t exclude his actions at all. I would have respected him slightly more if he fessed up earlier in the woman’s pregnancy. But no; he waits until after the child is born to say anything. Like he wished that he could just ignore it. His wife deserved to know earlier.
Until I see some further proof, I’m not believing that he wasn’t aware that his affair partner could be/was pregnant. I’d sure as he’ll be telling him about it, if I were in her shoes. She managed to have sex with him at least once; she most likely had a way to get a hold of him that most people don’t have.

The only thing close is the sworn virgin custom in the Balkands. I can relate. When I was in high school, I was in English class when a female classmate and her two male friends came over to me.
