Gisèle's lawyer asks to screen all the videos. This is rebuffed. Gisèle's lawyer responds that there was never a debate on whether to screen the videos, merely that a decision was made after general counsel requested it. Still rebuffed. The videos are "too shocking". If you're going to rape a woman and record it, I guess make it as offensive as possible, so the courts will protect you.
It is decided that all the videos for this week's accused rapists, if they are to be viewed at all, will be screened on a single day, Friday. Interesting choice. Hear the testimony on Monday, Tuesday, Weds and Thurs, but not see each related video until Friday. No doubt too that grouping them together to be viewed in a single bloc will reduce the shock value of each, as well as confuse the hell out of everyone.
Anyway, so Joan is questioned. Like last week's rapist Cyrille, Joan claims to not have enjoyed the experience, "I had zero pleasure". He's asked why he returned for a second visit, if the first was so disappointing. Joan says he was going through a difficult time.
Joan complains that he is regarded as a rapist according to the law, but the facts of the time mean that to him, that he is not a rapist. Why? Because, according to Joan, just because Gisèle was unconscious does not mean she did not consent.
Joan then blames Dominique, Gisèle's husband, for manipulating Joan into this. Joan is asked if the manipulation was physical. Joan says no, but that Dominique was "very welcoming and reassuring", which I suppose is manipulation if you're a fucking retard.
Joan's lawyer discusses how Joan had lost three family members in his life (for a then 22 year old, this doesn't seem outrageously tragic), and that he had just become a father, presumably to help explain he took to raping unconscious women. Joan then whines a bit about how embarrassing it was to be arrested at work, in front of his military colleagues.
Dominique then takes the stand, refuting much of Joan's claims. Dominique even reports that because Joan was so calm, clean and respectful, Dominique showed Joan some other videos he had taken of Gisèle being raped, and warned him to be careful of the police.
Another rapist moid is up. Hugues, 38. Says he trusted Dominique too much. Also says he has sex with his partner while she is sleeping, and then when she wakes up later, he asks for her consent and she says yes. But with Gisèle, he couldn't get an erection, and didn't like the lack of exchange and sharing, so he left. Before you get too impressed with this fuckstick's morals, Hugues explains that it wasn't because Gisèle was unconscious that made him soft, but because the atmosphere wasn't welcoming enough, and Dominique was too direct. Hugues complains that he feels he was used.
Hugues ex-girlfriend was questioned, and reported Hugues to be a liar throughout their relationship. At one point, she woke up to find Hugues was digitally penetrating her. Startled, she asked him what he was doing. He claimed to have been dreaming.
A lawyer comments on how Hugues tends to use "we" when responding, as if all the accused rapists are a group. Forced teaming, the brightest red flag of the worst type of moid.
