Been doing some research into how bad Asia really is for women since I have followed more korean feminists on Twitter and found this article that really shocked me. I knew about all the sexual harassment women face in Japan especially but you always think about these countries as more safe than the US for example.



Femicide cases are higher in Japan, Hong Kong and South Korea than in FUCKING INDIA. Could be that they don't report it as much in India? I don't know but that is NUTS.


1 in 3 married women in Japan experience domestic violence (in the US it is 1 in 4 I believe).

Despite being some of the safest countries in the world when it comes to overall homicide statistics, they are some of the worst if you are a woman. Strongly recommend reading the entire article.

Anyone else hate the meme that "men are so oblivious to female advances and women can dance naked in front of them and they won't even know she's interested!!"??? In my experience it's the exact fucking opposite, you can't even be nice or polite to men without them thinking you want to fuck them. Men aren't nice to women they wouldn't fuck so they think any woman being nice to them must mean she wants to fuck, they don't understand that women are polite and pleasant to people because we want to stay save and keep the peace.

I just don't believe that there are men out there who get hit on by women and are "oblivious to it". If a man ignores a woman's advances it's either because they don't find the woman attractive so they just ignore her or he is interested in someone else but keeping his options open to string the other woman along in case things don't work out with the woman he's actually interested in. Especially men in relationships who pretend to be "oblivious" to the fact the new girl at work is hitting on them when talking about it to their wife/gf. They know and are probably imagining fucking her, he isn't "oblivious" when he tells his wife/gf about this woman hitting on him, he is rubbing it in her face in hopes she will become jealous.

I think men also delude themselves retroactively remembering innocent interactions with women and reframing them in their minds as "Oh she definitely wanted me.. I just didn't realize it at the time " as some sort of cope that they were actually more desirable than they thought.

I think that when moids are really attracted to a woman they will search for any and all clues that she's interested in him and interpret everything she does as "omg she totally secretly wants me!" even if it's just her being polite. If a moid doesn't respond to a woman's advances it's because he's just not that into her. Keep in mind that many moids are willing to still date women that they aren't really that interested in just because they enjoy free emotional labor and access to sex. A lot of men even get married to women they find ugly and despise just because they are parasites.

Taking away womens' personal rights would only feed the positive feedback loop. When I started dating Nigel, he was receptive but still at the same time didn't "believe" I was into him. It was just a self esteem thing, I believe. Did you listen to the whole story? How is any of this 'badass' or 'based'?

This woman was broken from an early age, endangered her children multiple times (she left her infant on railroad tracks - what the fuck), manipulated and beat up all her partners, manipulated her partner's children (so she got more attention from said partner if his kids resented him), even stabbed one of her partners because she was jealous as fuck - there's genuinely nothing "based" about this story or what she did at all.
