This may be a controversial take here, but I honestly think Islam is just 'moidbrain on steroids'.

It is the natural endpoint of a moid-central worldview and that, if left unchecked, every moid would eventually end up, if not a Muslim, then something close to it. The name, the language, the aesthetics might change, but the ideology and the thought processes would be essentially the same.

I also think that this is a major part of the reason why Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world today. It appeals to and enables all the worst traits of the moid, but upholds them as virtues.
