Know an autistic communist, like many commies she’s quite well-read but so caught up in hypotheticals that she’s totally out of touch with the real world. I’ll admit to having not read Marx but just based on her daily rantings it seems like the tenets of communism are:

1. Everything we experience is due to systemic forces out of our control; there is no free agency.
2. Everyone should reap the benefits of society regardless of behavior or level of contribution.
3. There is nothing we can do to make things better for ourselves.
4. The revolution that should happen is never coming.

Seems like an ideology that guarantees misery.

I would like to point out a major mistake in the title of this thread.
The true name of "communism" is judeo-bolshevism and it should be labeled as such so that all shall know its true face.

The one thing I think I hate more than anything in the fucking world is someone telling someone else how to run the show. Someone who can't even handle their own lives.

Someone who knows fuck nothing about how the world works goes to college on mommy and daddy's dime. Some professor making 200k a year driving a 100K Tesla preaches to them the evils of capitalism, the professor goes on to tell them how evil the western world is, they reference some village somewhere where communism has created a utopia, a village less than 100 people that the professor has only read about by other pseudo intellectuals. A village that might not even exist and might as well not have considering the professor has never actually been to communist country in their lives. The professor talks about how inclusive Che Guevara was, in reality he hated the gays, the nigs and apparently tortured animals for fun. The students ask the professor why communism has failed? The professor responds that was not "real Communism" and that shouldn't be taken into consideration.

If this Professor existed under Mao or Stalin and was even suspected of sedition he would have been tortured until he gave them the names of all their cohorts, if he didn't have any they would torture him until he game them some random names. Afterward he would be shot if he was lucky and buried in an unmarked mass grave.

The commie manifesto may be one of -- if not the -- most damaging writings: it's led to so much suffering and insanity.
 
No, no, proper liberalism stemmed from something entirely different from communism, even American 'liberalism'/progressivism, though the latter has some commie influences.

I wouldn't just say that "Marx Bad" as much as he uncovered power relations as being lopsided and created an outlet for people to punch up. The worst damage came from what the Bolsheviks added to it - unbridled nihilism, spiritual deadness, literal brainwashing & propaganda, secret police, blaming anyone who is well off without any rhyme or reason, totalitarianism, etc.

NUANCE TIME: If the boss needs the workers, but the workers don't need the boss, how's pointing this out bad? How is suggesting people share ownership, like a bunch of buddies going in on a burger joint or a bar, so bad, when we already see that all the time, and even doctor's practices and law practices are often quite socialist per the strict definition?

I'll head you off by saying that no, welfare isn't communism. Welfare is something Prussia came up with, and something that gives a good ROI for lots of societies.

Communism's problem was, in so many words, reaching for a bullshit utopian ideal without having a plan to get there beyond "the party controls your thinking and everything everyone does and thus is primed to fuck things up."

TBH if you want something approaching communism you're better off listening to the RIGHT WING people saying "hey, UBI makes sense, here's the math and economics" than the approach they took, which was nothing but a disaster.

  • The Russian Revolution
  • "The Great Leap Forward" in China
  • East Germany
  • North Korea
  • gulags
  • the Cold War
  • "Chris Chan" going "tomgirl"
  • "GamerGate"
  • The George Floyd riots "peaceful protests"
  • "ESG" and "DEI"

Communism is by nature extremely paranoid about thoughtcrime and dissent of any kind because a communist system completely falls apart unless the niggercattle is perfectly docile and cooperative. Freedom of speech is inherently incompatible with communism, and a communist's only means of dealing with the threat freedom of speech poses is violent repression.

As for "erasure", that's just a hollow SJWism. When you try communism in real life, suddenly lack of representation is no longer such a big problem. For example when Russians were overrepresented in the governing body of a USSR satellite state at the expense of that state's nationals, that was completely fine. Just like the fact that Russians were presented to the eastern euro pleb as the communist version of the übermensch, a caste of superhumans to look up to and emulate in every aspect, despite the fact they--in the words of a poet--acted like white niggers and continue to do so to this day. Only a retard would be gullible enough to believe that a similar dynamic wouldn't rapidly emerge in any communist "utopia" attempted today.

I really regret that communists post-1989 weren't treated the same way as Nazis post-1945. They more than earned this honor but never received it. Still to this day you can get thrown in prison in many European countries for vocally espousing Nazi beliefs but not communism. I think that's an injustice. Either both should be legal (preferable) or both should be illegal. As a result you have sheltered white kids and various mutt abominations who have never in their life done any manual labor preaching extreme far left views and thinking communism is so cool bro. It's frustrating to see absolute retardation and hypocrisy like this not only tolerated but praised in western countries that never got burned so they have no idea what the fuck they're talking about. As a general rule any time a western european or american talks about communism in a positive light you can just ignore them.

Another trend I dislike is how SJWs deliberately try to change things for the worse, then try to "gaslight" everyone who criticizes a change as having some sort of "internalized [buzzword]" -- more like "internalized dissent". The truth is that peoples are not "blank slates", not everything is a "social construct", and there are objective standards. SJW thought is a mind virus, truth the antivirus.

For example, SJWs make a character deliberately ugly, then claim that anyone who complains has "internalized misogyny" or whatever...

North Korea is really more of an ultra-nationalist state whose ideology is derived from Imperial Japan. Unlike in Europe, where most communists were educated in proper Marxist-Leninist theory, Asian communists were generally nationalists with only some vague ideas of socialism.

Is that related to why the "woke" are crapping up major media franchises which used to be huge parts of American ways, like Star Wars after JJ, Star Trek after JJ, the utter absolute crapfest that is superhero comics, and so on? So fans either have to consider a series ruined by "woke", or ignore new "woke" garbage and pretend it never happened?
