Official Minecraft Server

Ditto. I have a support request in with Mojang to see if they will remove my original name from the UUID but they are apparently really backed up with support requests so no idea when I'll hear back. This server will need to survive a month before I'll consider buying a new account if Mojang doesn't fulfill my request.

Yep in the same boat, I was such a normie it’s basically my fucking full name when I bought it like a decade ago.

I’m just gonna Assume my ping would be way too bad to play anyway and just enjoy the stories.

Bedrock Minecraft (Aka minecraft from Win10 store, XBO, PS4, Switch, Android & IOS) can only connect to Bedrock servers. Java is separate to it.

The unspoken alternative is buying pre-existing accounts, rather than buying Minecraft outright. It's much cheaper, especially if you're just getting it to play on a single server.

any reason for spawn protection? is it just so people don't camp spawn and kill players or does lavacasting spawn just destroy tps or something

I realize that is a possobility but I figure it's probably just less headache to pay with cash in the store for a legit access card than buying hacked 8-year-olds accounts from sketchy Russian websites.

I'll probably do the same thing. I realized from the talk about getting doxed that I may not be able to just use my regular minecraft account. Very slim chance I could get doxed from it, but it was before I was careful about those kinds of things so I don't want to risk it.
