thats because it was bought by microsoft and turned into outlook, you can still make outlook accounts that end with a @hotmail.com though

That was mostly due to them doing a major rewrite of the games coding. At that point, they're just fixing it up through the updates to make it run better. I've noticed some positive results from it here and there.

Every minecraft server people will bitch. I like this one and haven't had any issues. I'm sure my "estate" will get griefed and then I'll quit but it's running nice when I'm on.

People want real estate to go and hide out while they grief others.

i think its something to do with the version, 2b2t and all the other clones which get 80+ players peak and all have a 2+ terabyte map size are always on 1.12.2. the other versions of the game just have too much content to handle a big player base + big map. theres some 2b2t youtuber with like 400k+ subscribers who hosted his own server and he has a video where he talks about different issues and how he fixed them (including poor tps), its probably worth watching but idk how useful it is realistically.

His fix is basically "run this on a single core server from a company I'm shilling".

I'll increase the world border to 100k and 12.5k in nether
