The server already has protection around spawn and offers kits to help players escape it, towny only breeds carebears who spend their time jacking off at their bases, barely interacting with others, exactly like the current situation.
People who cry about their stuff being griefed should be mocked and ignored, since they are usually the same retards who build 100 blocks away from spawn, but even if "anarchy" were to disappear, you'd still have issues with mouthbreathers forgetting to protect their shit and crying with null about it.

What it needs is an anti-cheat that doesnt shit the bed, 'Warden' seems to do wonders for Minewind

Again this is an "anarchy" server meaning no rules if you want a server with rules make one but turn off the anti cheat and let us have our fun you can try to act like hacking is wrong "bcuz is a childen gme" but that's stupid hacks let you find bases hacks let you walk on water hacks let you do a bunch of quality of life stuff

quality of life or skipping the game? You could literally make the same argument about any game: "hacking in tf2 is a quality of life improvement because you don't need to go through the motions of aiming at somebody's head, the aimbot will do it for you"

just replace the anarchy server with a creative mode land staking no-pvp server then nobody will complain. also I hope the parents of the lavacaster who ruined spawn die in their sleep tonight. one of my minecraft steves got buried under the lavacast while logged out so he couldn't move or die or break blocks because it's in the spawn zone and I got so mad I shit my pants and yelled a curse word and got grounded for it

Running a minecraft server is usually low effort, however it does require occasional maintenance and adjustments, as well as adjustments. You need to make sure plugins and the server software are updated, and usually a good idea to appoint a few jannies who can temp-ban people who spam chat or exploit the server.

And yes mojangs software is horrible, I am still stunned at how much they trust the Minecraft client in a multiplayer enviornment.

Fucking anarchy bullshit, this is what you get, a server that no one has fun playing on except the faggots that just want to destroy everything. I hope that douchebag comes back and covers spawn in cobble again and keeps doing it until you shut the server down.

No one can build anything because it'll either get destroyed by faggots or by retard server admins.

Could have been mitigated if you had given some people op to be jannies, but nope, you have to do everything the hard way.

Look at your own fucking poll you goddamn moron. You have over 300 fucking people saying they would play on non-anarchy server vs 38 that say they wouldn't.

I wanted something I could plop down, which everybody could join for free or already owned, and get 100 people playing together in one day. I don't thin that's possible.

make it creative mode with land staking and no pvp, all problems instantly solved
