That is the funniest fucking thing I've heard in terms of SS13 fuckery in a while.

Someone please do this.
Aw fuck someone is flooding plasma again...
wait...
that's not plasma...
WHAT THE FU-
Very soon after advanced fusion was implemented on /tg/ I was in a round where an aspiring fusion technician created a fusionmix in the mixed air tank and began piping it into the station. As soon as the vents opened a crack you instantly died. Only the AI and cyborgs were left. It didn't even catch fire, but contact with the hot air alone was enough to turn all station air hotter than the sun.

In /tg/ powergame fashion that opened pandora's box and opening fusion mix tanks was a common round-ender until things got nerfed.

I once made a circuit bot that followed the librarian and then proceeded to orbit him and scream SNAKES, COBRA, COPPERHEAD every two seconds or so to make him shudder and dizzy from his fear of snakes.
Naturally oranges must have been the librarian because next time I logged in about a month later both the librarians fear of snakes and integrated circuits had been removed.

That was my immediate thought as well.

Sadly though, there seems to be fuck all to be swabbed; I spent 45 minutes swabbing maint and got nothing. Had to resort to gold slimes and the biopsy tool in the end.
I managed to collect a full box of swabs with cultures in 15 minutes on metastation. Some maps (like icebox) seem to lack the swabbables that were added with cytology and the only swabbable things that produce actually useful results are specific types of gibs and vomit (well there are also clown clothes but the cells you get from them requiere bananas to grow), so if you have trouble try butchering a monkey and eating it's flesh raw maybe?

What can you grow from clowns? Cluwne cells?

Goddamnit, let me explain that shit show.

Someone in a previous round sent that into ooc on purpose, so I copied it to look it up, and I was pranked, but I forgot to remove it from my copy. I then had to copypaste something else, and thought that the copy worked, but it didn't, so when I went to paste, it actually pasted the thing that I had copied that someone else sent in the OOC a couple rounds before.

I laughed it off, but then some tards started defending me, even though I begged them not too, they decided that I should be allowed to post porn in OOC, even though I said that it was wrong, and a mistake on my end. SO these retards make me into this guy who wants to spread his porn with the world, even tho i never watched the link I accidently sent, only clicked on it and then got shocked and closed the fuckin tab
wait so you saw the pornhub link but didn't think it was porn?

I haven't played in a bit. Are the antags just powergaming and murderboning?

Yeah, that's not a good thing. The motivation to do this now was the hackmd link. That's basically what you're asking for. No one wants to wait for RD to research their shit already, gating that because some busywork is only going to make the game more annoying.
Oh, I totally agree.

I'm mainly a cargo drone player, and since our contracts are 90% related to other dept's outputs, I may be a bit bitter about this inequality?

Whoever keeps shilling kiwistation on /vg/ please stop, those people are unbearable autistic chimpanzees and even worse than us.
I was told it was advertised on boatbomber's discord, but got turned down quickly because they were scared about big words and few rules.

As it stands Cargo doesn't even have anything to do. They just sit there and eat shit. I need to figure out at some point if bounties are able to be re-added.

Did my first rounds as Chemist and Shaft Miner(well first successful rounds).

Chemist seems pretty easy to follow and very helpful. No one asked me for anything but I still experimented on making stuff and went down the line of useful chems and gave them to the departments that needed it. Just starting trying to assemble a grenade when the station went to hell.

The low level mobs in lavaland are way less intimidating now. Did a couple of Necropolis Tendrils but failed to grab the loot before the chasm swallowed it. Definitely feel a little more robust with the experience. Made it all the way to one map edge successfully but haven't yet found any of the cool random stuff I've seen as a ghost.

You might be able to check and see if Bee made a PR to re-add bounties to their branch.

Have you considered having cargo techs be like mail men? Like have the cargo shuttle every so often have a crate full of a bunch of random letters to random people with a piece of paper in it and some small item i.e a coin inside. Then have a box outside each department as mail box (you could just use a voting box re-coloured or something) then with each letter being delivered to the correct department a small bonus for the player and cargo is earned. Then they have something to do that earns them money so they don't break into tool storage 0.0001 seconds into the round.

It might be neat to have random departmental supply boxes delivered that could speed up other parts of the station. Something like: every 10 minutes the QM can request a "package delivery shuttle" that's filled with random unopenable packages. Delivering one to the correct department allows someone with a departmental ID or emag to open the mailbox and get out a cardboard box with random helpful items for that department, from an array of sets relevant to different jobs (sort of like how the chef can have an "American food box" or an "Italian food box" delivered to him at roundstart).

There might even be a way to prioritize boxes for departments with less ability to collect their resources, so the chef doesn't suffer for lack of veggies if there's no botanist or robo gets metal if there are no miners or whatever.
