Two stories stick out in my mind from at least 3-4 years ago maybe? Forget if it was on /tg/ or Hippie (although it was most likely Hippie given my preference for it way back then).

>cult round
>cult decides, for whatever reason, to establish base in the middle of dorms
>without cutting cameras
>or lights
>or doing anything to prevent AI intervention
>get robusted rolling with it and trying to bring sacrifices, die
>observing cult as they proceed with their business
>inevitably they get found out (this somehow takes longer than expected even though they're right out there in the open of dorms
>AI bolts all doors to the dorms as soon as most of the cult is gathered
>AI starts venting plasma
>AI overloads every light in the dorms
>sparks ignite plasma
>everything is fire
>AI gets on Black Mesa Announcement System vox
>starts spamming "FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE" endlessly while the cult burns to death
>still screeching on vox until people come in and contain the fire

Made most of the server die laughing in deadchat and OOC.

>in an act of desperation, AI has its borgs shut off emitters and shields around the singularity generator (HEY REMEMBER WHEN SINGULOTH POWERED THE STATION?)

>most of the server is watching with anticipation from deadchat
>SINGULOTH draws closer and closer to the blob

>SINGULOTH said "Fuck this."
>SINGULOTH 180's on a dime
>SINGULOTH beelines straight for the AI satellite
>SINGULOTH devours the satellite, AI and all
>SINGULOTH eventually lists towards Evac, eats most of the survivors and the shuttle
>Blob victory

Admins swore up and down that they didn't direct the singularity around. I still wonder.

I keep threatening to sprite mushroom people. Here's one I bashed out real quick this morning.

I'll probably keep adding example in here until I either get bored and stop, or make a thread about mushroom people and actually sprite the code the cunts properly.

>engineer borg tries to fix atmos with other atmos tech
>pretend to be incompetent
>they do, then I unfix it stealthily
>above repeats a few times
>at some point I take a while to run around the station while in an atmos suit and on fire to start more plasma fires while pretending to be fixing the fire
>all hallways 5000 deg hot
>around the time shuttle arrived pretend to lynch the other atmos guy for plasma flooding with a fire axe.

>hardly anyone except medbay staff escaped IIRC

I really really really wish there was a way to deadmin and still know when tickets are popping.

Oranges already removed that one day after adding it with a commit.
Also post context for the ban sounds like it might be entertaining.

Chubby shroom people become puffballs.

I was thinking that normal shroom people eat enough to become puffballs; and then like slime people can bud spare bodies. I can't honestly decide if I want to try and make an actual player race, or a spiderlike mob where they'd be a minor side antagonist.

Mushroom people as an antag would put down mycelium carpet, eat corpses and other foods to grow and slowly spread mould over the station. Light would inhibit growth, and they'd be better off making a nest in maint and growing.

Any feedback on how they look would be great. These are just early drafts based off of the existing human mob models. So it's all subject to change as I go along.

That sounds like something that got removed because some coder got butthurt rather than because something that broke unintentionally.

Is it considered to be the proper thing to do to notify an admin any time you're killed by somebody and you don't know if they are antag or not? I want to keep low quality players down, but also don't want to bother the admin.

When is it proper to kill somebody as sec? If you catch an antag can you just execute them, or are you supposed to ask the captain/hos/admin?
