With the setup I do its trivial to add new Reagents to the line, just add another reacton chamber for it and it's precursors(if you haven't already set them up. But in general i do think you are right about the pair idea. Although plastic is better done manually honestly
 
Running the engine like this by default results in a very easy to delaminate system as there are multiple choke points for the gas to get stopped. It is possible to completely delaminate that entire default engine setup by turning off ONE VALVE (Chamber To Gas). Furthermore, pressure pumps push the least amount of gas through. You want to keep the gas flowing around the loop as smoothly as possible.

The problem is the basic guide is almost worse than useless as it leaves an easy to bomb supermatter in motion. It can be tricky to actually undo that and make a stable setup from the default if it's let to run. Understanding the fundamentals of gas flow and how the supermatter operates are more important than following a step-by-step guide IMO. Take it from someone who can blow a supermatter in five minutes, and sometimes can blow it so hard it turns into a tesla or black hole, that the default setup is begging to die. If you turn a single pump off you can blow the whole thing. The system I run can be sabotaged by cutting the cooling loop valves AND the coolant bypass loop, but that's harder to do and easier to fix.

Arr-pee antags are sort of difficult on a server where no one arr-pees, believe it or not.

How do I get past this? I tried making myself fat, but apparently that's not gluttonous enough for the wall.
 
I appreciate the changes to engi. It would be aces if the particle accelerator board could be printed to set up the tesla engine. Add it as a research item so it's only available late game for slower rounds. I can print and make tesla coils and grounding rods but that's it.

People have been building the toroidal fusion reactor lots lately (HFM I think?) it'd be neat to be able to build lots of different motors. That way you could even spread them around the station so they don't all fail.

How do I restore power properly on Charlie Station? I tried before but I just shocked myself a bunch trying to set up solars.
I either spawned with insulated gloves already equipped or picked them up from the generator room or the solars room.

You have to get REALLY fucking fat, past "you're suddenly feeling blubbery" and into "I'm sad because I'm fat and can only waddle" territory. I tend to yoink a box of donuts for this, but while it gives me a head start, one is never enough. Also, for some reason I once had to take off my hardsuit to get through. Could have been just a bad timing.

So, I've set up a medicine farm that produces two types of pills. The first contains 25u of Strange Reagent and 25u of Omnizine, the second contains 24u of Earthsblood and 26u of Mannitol.

If you feed a dead body(NEVER A LIVING ONE) the first pill, it should bring it back to life and sometimes restore a noticeable amount of brute and burn damage. I haven't gotten a chance to test it, but after looking at the code I believe it should also restore all organs to full, unless the brain if it's taken crazy amounts of damage. It should also de-husk, even ling husk. It won't regen limbs or work if unable to feed for some reason, like missing a head or something. Keep in mind there will probably be damage from whatever killed the patient in the first place as well as residual Strange Reagent in the patients system after reviving, which will cause brute and burn damage. This is countered by the large amount of Omnizine in the pill and the second pill.

The second pill should heal 200 brute 200 burn 117.5 suffocation 117.5 toxin 37.5 cellular 117.5 stamina 35 brain over the course of 60 cycles(it's kind of slow until cycle 26, then it dramatically picks up). If you are wondering why there are 24u of Earthsblood, it's because it overdoses at 25u. Earthsblood causes brain damage, but the Mannitol counters it for a net gain. Earthsblood enforces pacifism on the patient while it's in their system and makes the screen have a trippy rainbow effect. It also makes you spout a lot of weird dialogue.

Although the second pill could be used in pretty much any situation where someone needs healing, I think they are most effective when used together on a dead body. Immediately using them one after another on a dead person should revive them with all organs repaired and back to fully health after a minute or two. It doesn't hurt that the Omnizine in the first pill would heal the patient by 0.5 brute/burn/suffocation/toxin a tick, in addition to what the Earthsblood does, and there are 250 ticks worth in the pill. Caution should be made not to overdose the patient by giving them too much more Omnizine any time soon.

As far as I'm aware, all of the heads that don't start mindshielded can be traitors. That includes RD, CMO, and CE.

CMO can't be tator on kiwistation, and I believe all heads and all sec start mindshielded.

QM, CE, HOP, and RD can all be tator. Only Captain, CMO and all sec roles can't.
