Since we are all bored let me tell you a story...

I'm still angry about the clear admin-preference in that round, such as the bloodbrothers having traitor items. (In case you don't know, bloodbrothers are two antags working together without any traitor items.)

But hey, at least I gottem.

HRP is an environment that discourages being robust. It's why there's plenty of stories out there about murderboners being able to dunk on entire HRP servers because Sec can't keep up with someone who actually knows what they're doing.

The solution for gay HRP stations is to give Sec the most hilarious bullshit I've ever seen at roundstart to make them practically invincible, as well as slow everything to a crawl. Have you ever seen a "fight" on a HRP server? For three minutes it's Security RPing and calling more reinforcements until it's just six secoffs all with batons that actually work against one guy who usually isn't even allowed to whip out shit like explosives or deswords because admins are watching. Engaging pre-emptively gets you bwoinked and quite possibly banned so this always plays out. However, individual officers are unrobust as shit and would get annihilated on Kiwi if Kiwi was still up. Even if they were in full Death Squad gear.


Since the SS13 story thread is down, to illustrate, I will tell a story. I was once a clown on HRP server and it was my (self imposed) goal as clown to prank all of security and Command. I saw the warden walking around with a gun, tossed a banana peel in his path, honked the horn, and then sidestepped a shotgun disabler gun going off semi-auto for a really long time before I got hit too much to dodge and went down.

Of course I got away because "honk honk, just a prank, bro."

I was eventually let onto the bridge where I threw a pie into the face of the HoP and shoved the Captain into a wall, knocking him over. Then I honkspammed and waddled out.

Pretty much my Saturday rn. Played very briefly on /tg/ station 2 years ago and figured I'd give it a try since it was continuously advertised on MATI. Alas....fuck me....

It would be cool if we got a new owner, I'm sure someone in the community has enough free time and experience with computers that they could host, but they may not want the responsibility of being a ss13 admin, and I respect that.

Basically they removed two of the four intents in order to make it more "combat focused". As you can imagine this wasn't taken well and the change itself sucks, but the mods want to insist that this is a good change and refuse to listen to people who say otherwise.
