I remember going to a local convention with some guy selling dvds filled with old and unreleased shit, and he had a dvd of old beer commercials from the 50s to the 80s. Never did pick them up, but I already have a good commercial for this thread.

Ordinarily I can't stand commercials, but if they deliver a decent joke without being too obnoxious and I don't have to hear the same ad a million times then I don't mind. Case in point:

I always loved the Don's Guns ads here in Indy. It's this kinda-black, kinda-passing white dude (who died in 2014) that was always really enthusiastic about selling guns in his commercials. They were kinda neat.

Digging up old TV commercials is one of my favorite things about Youtube. Hit it, Hal!

The "raisin" in front is Barney Martin, who later became known as Jerry's dad Morty on Seinfeld.

These commercials are catchy as fuck:

KNOCK IT ON THE HEAD

Hero Quest is amazing for many reasons but this commercial from the UK is one of them. Just listen to that pronunciation of broadsword.

Here's The Rolling Stones selling Rice Krispies,

New Order hawking Sunkist,

John Lydon peddling Country Life butter,

And John Cooper Clarke selling his soul to the Honey Monster.
