Old Hollywood Birthdays - Actresses

I'm thinking of theming my page with tidbits and facts about famous birthdays of actresses from Old Hollywood.

For instance, as of today, it's Marlene Dietrich's birthday. (December 27, 1901 - May 6, 1992)

Two things of her stick out to me: her fashion style with wearing men's suits and her deflection from Nazi-occupied Berlin during WW2. One of her well-known films is Shanghai Express (1932).

If nothing else, notice the use of butterfly lighting in that promo shot. Happy Birthday, Marlene Dietrich. Proud patriot and amazing woman.
