Old Internet Videos/Content - YouTube videos and websites that were good back in the day

Okay, went through my favorites list a bit more, here's another video I favorited in 2007 called Youtube Guided Tour. No idea who this dude is or if he went to make many more videos, but it's a good look at what youtube was like in 2007. It's strange to think that this was the "old internet" but I guess it is. Video is unlisted, so unless you have the link you won't be able to find it apparently

Shows as "unavailable" to me. Wonder if KF traffic made the owner pull it?

I'd been on YouTube before I saw this stupid video, but I think it was the first one I truly remember watching, wondering what the hell was going on...

YTPs aren't mentioned strictly in this thread so here's a classic:

There are a lot more and I'm sure everyone's aware of them, so I'll link one that is a little more niche. This video is one of the first I remember laughing my ass off to:
edit: just want to clarify this isn't the original, I can't find that, but the idea is pretty much the same.

Tourettes Guy in general was popular - I like older YouTube for the genuine personalities that were fun and generally light-hearted as opposed to current personalities who are extremely mentally ill and attention-seeking.

Not a YTP, but there are some videos I have no idea how I stumbled across when I was younger and think about them from time to time, wondering if they were ever real and not just some fever dream, and sure enough, they are:
(If you can get past the text to speech this is unironically a great video)

Ah, 2011 and 2012. A time when Justin Bieber and One Direction were the biggest enemies on the horizon.
Here's some more good shit:

I got the audio of Elliot Rodger here the song, I was on YouTube the other day but I can no longer seam to find it on there. Might have been taken down due to violating some new policy or guideline.

It safe to upload videos/audio on this site?

Jesus Christ, I made an account because I just remembered this guy, he purged everything from his first channel in 2010-2011, from what I remember. Glad to see at least some of it is archived, though I don't remember what his beef with the Justin Bieber fanbase was, I think I vaguely remember him doing some "interview" with "Bieber" and it made a lot of people mad.
Also, remember when Foam Adventure was considered peak cringe? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Anyone here do what I did when I was 13? We used AOL Online way back then - which was heavily guarded by my parents with blockers on nearly every site you could imagine - but I eventually figured out that as long as I was logged into AOL I could then boot up Internet Explorer and view any site I wanted and my parents would never know. As a result I ended up stumbling upon the golden age of Newgrounds and devoured almost everything to do with Mario like the Dumbass Mario series or Resident Koopa.

Even managed to fool my parents into thinking AOL's blocker glitched up for a while when they finally found out what I was watching. God I miss those days.

I think I must've been the kid responsible for driving most of my high school teachers mad when I discovered this movie. Watched it countless times as a kid and got the smart idea to show it to everyone at school. Everybody kept quoting things like "ZEEKY BOOGY DOOG!" and making explosion sounds afterwards. It baffled the teachers and nobody got anything done for days until the sites hosting TDCM were blocked on the servers.

I will never forgive trannycord and plebbit for the complete destruction of all video game fourms.
Some of my fondest early internet experiences came from the stupid ass antics and infighting amongst users on a mario/nintendo fan forum that was named after a fake online forum mentioned offhand in one line of dialogue from fucking super paper mario of all things. The place was filled with several factions of users that would just shit talk the fuck out of each other but overall it was just harmless dumb internet bullshit. I think I was relatively well known by the active users as I was kind of a weird and outgoing person to some degree as a kid. and every once in a blue moon I've run into some I recognize as being somene I used to know from there but since I never used the same username they don't always know me. I was surprised when the moon shit happened on kiwifarms a few years back because it followed the exact same format as the kind of shit that place did for big events. Like the moon getting bigger till it encompassed the page shit was IDENTICAL but had a different context. Last I checked the thing is now like either completely dead or just a mirror for kotaku or some shit. I found links to some old threads there like a month or so ago but didn't know if it was actually the site or a spoofed scam site so i didn't click it, but I saw my profile and some of my old posts as results when I looked for shit on it in a search engine. Also weirdly I found out a chan meme/forum post game thing from around that time period was completely memory holed save for a reference to it on a wikia some of the mario forum users made as a way to put their opinions on users or whatever all those years back. Hard to believe it's been way over a decade now.

Fuck this shits got me incoherently rambling about memories again.

Another unusual Christian blast from the past:

Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven!

>that '90s layout
This is one of my all-time favorites. The formatting, the tabloid-like headlines, everything. No matter how deep you go, there's always another hyperlink. Despite the webpage looking perpetually frozen in the mid-2000's, he's actually been updating it almost every day since then.

More disturbingly, the author also raped a teenage girl in 2006.

The real luigi's masion unfortunately doesn't hold up as well as dumbass mario.

Dumbass Luigi is okay though.

Also, I remember Brentalfloss's what if x had lyrics songs being way older than the upload date?
Most of these songs are very of their time in terms of random sexual expletives, but he also puts in content notes like:
"When I wrote this, I didn't think much about the effect of that final use of the word "boobies" in context. In retrospect, it could come off as transphobic, and I'm definitely not that. Sorry if it made anyone feel bad, that wasn't my intention."

I remember Dumbass Luigi so fondly. It's not as good as Dumbass Mario but I think it holds up for the most part.

Brentalfloss pretty much became like every other video game content creator on Youtube - he used to be edgy, but as soon as social justice began poisoning everything he turned around and started flogging himself for daring to say such mean, nasty things! It kinda ruins his songs for me.

And speaking of things that upsets current year snowflakes - anyone here remember M is Bad!?

This video is pretty much golden age Newgrounds humor and I still go back to it every now and then. Had the balls to watch it while my parents were at home too. By then I'd learned about the content that usually appeared in animations like this and I loved it. If you go to the comment section of the most viewed version of this you'll find a lot of triggered retards crying about how offensive and sick it is.
