Christ, thinking about Off Topic takes me back, used to post there a ton when I was younger. That place was basically 4chan for kids - not surprising that quite a few kiwis on the community watch thread admitted to being former OT users.

Guests were one of 3 types back when they were around.
1: Utterly dogshit/barely sentient new players.
2: Regular players trolling around as a guest and making children assmad when pwning them.
3: Exploiters that don't want to feel any consequences whatsoever for using exploits (what are you going to do, ban a guest account?).

I briefly played Roblox back in 2008/9. I don't really have nostalgia for it, just an interest in being able to find the old games I played on it. Don't remember any of the names besides one or two, and I can only find a few still around (although very broken) when I went looking for them. I don't even want to play them its just the 'archive everything' mindset, but I'm trying to find proof of the existence of a game/map. "Builders Club Hotel" is what I think it was called, I never actually did anything on it besides enter the lobby because it required Builders Club. I just have some inane desire to find this map for some reason. Maybe the old Roblox aesthetic?

I've searched everything I could and I can't find any proof of it even existing. I even looked at a few of those 'classic Roblox revival' projects, but their archive of games is very limited. I don't even know if it exists or its some sort of memory that my brain conjured up.

Personal servers were one of the best additions to Roblox. It was better for building models then Minecraft creative. The building tools were powerful but simple enough to work with, and had some fun "redstone" items to use. I think I spent hours with friends building whatever we wanted, roleplaying at times, and we built nice town.

I'm still sad Roblox killed the option. (:_(

I don't quite remember all of them, quite a few i do however.
Missing a lot of other tracks that were commonly used in games back in the old days, especially from 2009 to 2014 these "old roblox soundtracks" were just about everywhere because i believe the custom audio system was introduced around 2015 or so.

Edit: nvm a quick google reveals it was introduced in september 2013, which sounds about right, though in my experience the custom music stuff really only caught on later in 2014, i assume a lot of sound effects however were introduced earlier as before a lot of them were ripped from gears and what have you.

Anyone of you want to discuss bans you've gotten from ROBLOX games?

I was banned from Phantom Forces (permanent game ban, not just a chat ban) quite a while ago because one of their furry troon staff members got their feelies hurt by me. After that I could only play in the Banland servers where the only thing you can do is HvH. Last time I checked, the faggot is no longer working at Stylis, I think.

Multiple game bans and countless alts terminated for RC7 usage too. For those who don't know, before Synapse existed, RC7 was the prime exploit client that could literally do anything as long as it's possible. RC7 was killed off I believe by FilteringEnabled, which is a setting that "filters" serverside execution of scripts. You can only exploit serverside now if the game you're exploiting has a backdoor in it. It's not my fault 16 year old me was inspired by Citizen to ruin ODing games!

Never dabbled in exploiting but me and a good friend of mine are absolute gremlins when it comes to glitching shit, even after the cornerglitch patch we hop, clip and glitch our ways through games with little effort, and always keep an eye out for new bugs to exploit.
Obviously we've been banned plenty of times because of that alone, not roblox bans but plenty of game bans that don't appreciate people using the most bare of glitches to troll players (instead of just fixing them with relatively little effort).

Also the occasional 3 day ban for such wonderful lines as "i hate the chinese", "Retard" (you can still say this btw) and "Gay people are degenerate" as well as one yo mama joke that wasn't even that funny nor offensive.. can't quite remember which one it was.

Anyone here ever taken a look at the advanced obby community? shit's really interesting, these people are autistic enough to do weird bullshit parkour games that get absolutely insane in difficulty.
